Easy conversions would be 4:10 and 15:30.
High schoolers who run 9 minutes do not run 15:30. Normally closer to 16 minutes.

OP didn't specify that he was a high schooler. That said, if you're talking high school yeah it would be a bit slower, mainly because they race the 5k infrequently (or not at all) in track. If the 5k was a high school event I think we would see 9:00 guys running at least 15:45, with many in the 15:30s.
I ran 8:57 on year in college and also hit 4:02 and 15:30 the same season.
