You are the problem.
Watch the video. An elderly white man standing nonviolently in front of some police was roughly shoved to the ground by police officers. In falling, the old man smashed the back of his head into the concrete sidewalk. Blood spreads on the sidewalk as the officers continue walking forward without stopping.
You, supporting this action taken by government employees, are the problem.
Clearly , the thought he was black , pale black.

Actually I don't have a problem with this one. The old man aggressivly approached the police. He didn't move back and was shoved back.
It's unfortunate that he fell and hurt himself, but is was at his own risk.

and you wonder why people call you a fascist.....
bootlickers like you would have welcomed the Nazis with open arms.
Hope you enjoyed your little 3-year party where racist nationalists could run out in the sun and pretend to be normal people.....your day is over
The officers have been suspended. You all who are defending them are ridiculous.
Felony assault charges? ?
You just can't tolerate this kind of police brutality. The 75 yr old man was no threat - they didn't need to shove him!

Watch the video! Really? He "aggressively" approached the police? "Aggressively"?
Are you a U.S. citizen? Are you REALLY in favor of this assault on a nonviolent citizen? Amazing.
Americans, let us not forget our history and the foundations of this great republic.
In 1770, within the context of civil unrest and protests over new taxes, it was behavior JUST LIKE THIS perpetrated by government soldiers (British, at the time) onto the people of Boston that resulted in a large crowd of people harassing a small group of soldiers. The people threw snowballs & stones at the soldiers, and struck the soldiers with clubs. Eventually, the soldiers fired into the crowd; today, Americans remember this as "The Boston Massacre". Over the next 5 years, relations continued to deteriorate, and finally the people rebelled against a government they deemed oppressive.
Remember our heritage. We are not a people who stand for physical bullying or assault from armed representatives of the government.
You may agree or disagree with the politics of the old man in the video. But it is plainly un-American to support the assault that the police officers in the video perpetrated onto a U.S. citizen.
If the old man was breaking the law, the police should have arrested and charged him. In the United States, it is not the job of government employees to initiate physical altercations with citizens. Full stop.
Fellow U.S. citizens, DO NOT allow your (very understandable) emotional attachment, one way or the other, to the ongoing current events cloud your judgement regarding blatant assault. Think carefully:
Do you or do you not support the proposition that government employees SHOULD NOT assault U.S. citizens who are exercising their right to nonviolently protest?
The video that ended racism
America has gone topsy turvy. I've said it before, arguing between the two sides (democrat and republican) has become so intensely focused on the argument itself that the actual politics have been forgotten and instead you just argue like it's your favourite football team in discussion.
Here we have so called right wing Republicans, those who are supposed to be in favour of reducing the size and power of the government to it's minimum, now are the biggest supporters of the police and welcome more funding, greater police powers and fewer police controls.
It is madness. The police is a public service. They should work for the people. America has forgotten it's heritage indeed.
There was a 7pm curfew in effect. It was announced to the general public. Anyone remaining present was in violation of that curfew. Police began clearing the area. They moved forward in a slow, uniform wave, loudly announced that people had to disperse, and gave repeated verbal commands to do so. They did not shoot him, they did not strike him with a baton, they did not tase him, they did not pepper spray him
He could see that they were in uniform, duly authorized, enforcing a law enacted by elected officials. What is the expectation here: Do you not want laws enforced? Do you believe in laws at all? How do you expect police to both maintain the laws enacted by your own elected representatives while simultaneously never having to use force during non-compliant transactions? How much more warning could reasonably be provided before you would deem any force acceptable? At what age is it acceptable to protest but not to be subject to laws?
Are citizens who fail to participate in local, state, and federal elections repeatedly over their lifetimes in any way responsible for the elected officials who poorly represent them as a result? Do you believe in democratic processes or do you believe elections are illegitimate when they fail to conform to your particular political stances? If your political representative is elected in the next election cycle and passes laws that you agree with, do you expect law enforcement to enforce those laws or not? How: with force or with no force? Please explain, thank you
1. Letter of the law versus spirit of the law., but I guess you think 51mph in a 50 is the same as 100 mph in a 50.
2. Exactly what threat was grandad presenting at the time?
3. How many cops does it take to deal with a 75 year old senior citizen who is peacefully demonstrating?

This is correct. And really, I can't see how this was described as violently pushed. I played this a couple of times, they pushed him away because he charged up to them.
This type of incident will make more people sympathetic to police. Its outrageous to attack police and call this a violent push.
Oh NOW your concerned about old white guys. Where was the leftist media when the KNOCK OUT GAME was popular a few Summers ago when over 300 elderly whites were pummelled by blacks at random for 'fun.'.. several died.
Seen this already. Honestly looks like an accident to me. What his old ass was doing I don't know. The cop does shove him, not very hard, and the old man cannot kept back peddling fast enough and falls. Thought it was fake at first but a strong puff of wind would of blown him over. Anyway it looks like he may have hit his head on the corner there. That sucks. Hope he's alright but jesus man have a little sense. You're supposed to be old and wise.
The man came to talk to the police. The man started to back up as the police crowded closer to him. He did not touch any officer. Then the officers pushed him. We do not need police officers like that. They are in the wrong job.
Again, so many of these issues result with people not following the rules. Yes, this incident didn't need to happen, but it goes back to those that can't follow a simple directive. Once people start following the rules and laws of this country this country will have less Police related issues, it's that simple!

F*ck you, pigs
Unacceptable policing but it sounds like they have been suspended or fired.
