She’s on another level. Converts to about an 8:59 3000m. Brown >>> Tuohy

That’s faster than the record by katelyn, correct? Hers was a 9:49, so Brynn is already better. Looks like the haters were incorrect about brynns burnout.

Yes, because as we all know, the way burnout works is that immediately after a crazy hard workout you fall off the map, without any good performances EVER.
Good to hear that she is update.
She is winning NXN (if it happens) calling it now

No, the way burnout works for girls is you ignore all facts and wait until she finally has a bad race (sometimes years later) and then claim you were right all along
Tuohy SOLO ran 15:37 on an 200m indoor track, having to pass MANY girls, as a SOPHOMORE.
This run was very good, but doesn't compare to Tuohy in any way. Brown had multiple pacers, one in front and one at the back (in cycling the middle position is the best, tho I doubt the person at the back in running matters a lot).
Way too early to call NXN win. What about Thorvaldson, Masciarelli, Rauber, Pings, etc? What if runners just run behind Brown in a race and outkick her at the end?
I do agree tho that we judged her training too early, the 4xMile seems to have been a peaking session in preparation for this 3200m TT, and not a workout/intensity she would repeat week after week. Still, it IS going to be important that she stays healthy and injury free.
Um, not real, never happened. There are no races, no real competitions, no FAT timing, no results.
Nice, but never happened.
Hope she is not in a boot when the run NXN.
You're spelling is about as good as your crap post. 'Hope she is not in a boot when THEY run NXN.

The whole run is on her Instagram. How can she fake that? This girl ran 4xMile on short rest in 4:52, 4:55, 4:57, 4:57 or so a week ago, a 3200m in 4:51/mi with pacers on the track in spikes is not something unexpected/unbelievable after that workout.

You were WRONG! You can’t even own up to it. That’s just unprofessional.
That was incredibly impressive, shattering the all-time US HS record in a time trial, on video, in a season with no actual races.
Sophomore year. And Jim Ryun broke 4 minutes in high school. Neither of them can hit thise times today. Brown is improving and you are talking about the past. This is the best runner in history.
Pretty much 72 per lap
Is she related to Spencer?

VDOT puts a 9:39 3200m equivalent to a 15:38 5k, so I'd say it compares pretty well. You're also trying to compare race day magic to.... a TT? There are factors that favor either depending on your bias.
credit where credit is due - if you can do it under these conditions, you can also do it in a race
would put her right there with efraimson and tuohy, and would have been fun to see a 2020 race with Brown, Tuohy, Dudek and Starliper
this is not shocking as she showed excellent form in Sept '19 before injury.
She is leader in the clubhouse for 20/21 if she can stay healthy.
So you are saying Brown can't break 15:37 on the track after running sub 15:30 pace for 4 x 1 mile on cross country w short rests?
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
