Nick continues to find ways to keep me entertained during Covid-19. Anyone know the status of his wedding? When we had him on the podcast, he said he had a May wedding.

This video has something for everyone. Even if you hate Nick Symmonds, you'll enjoy him falling on his face.
I laughed when he jumped into the steeplechase water pit.
He is a funny guy sometimes.
He's so washed up and it's sad that he's competition attention on youtube with people that play video games and women that do ASMR.
I watched this too. If he really wants to break any records he'd need to regroup, train in those things for 1000 miles or more, then make another attempt. I think even then, the springs are too slack, more suitable for jumping. With stiffer springs like what Oscar P uses but a bit heavier duty since someone with legs will have longer levers, you could run faster.
Something for the LetsRun sleuths is to look up if his statement "I never DNFed a single race" is true. Over 20 years of running in high school, college, and professional it's hard to believe.

He’s a middle distance runner, not a marathoner. I’ve never DNFed an 800 or 1500. DFL? Sure, but never DNF.

Not really but OK.

Its impressive that he is still hanging in and promoting a sport that you will probably never achieve anything in.
Its great that our previous stars can laugh at themselves. He should be laughing at you, but he probably has a little more respect for others.

Not difficult at all.
I quit one race when I was 12 and got such a look of disgust I never quit again.
Even when I was anchoring a team and being 40 meters behind in the Nationals.
lol I can't imagine DNF'ing an 800 unless you trip or get injured midrace.
A lot of sad ? in that video.
He gets married May 23rd.

+1
Not funny, not interesting, not enjoyable—just juvenile, and lame.
Thought he was ok when I thought he would train seriously for an impossible 100m goal, but realized the pathos as it went on.
Sorry, Nick. This is not working for you.
As was said: sad.

Oscar shouldn't need his for a while, maybe Nick can borrow them.
ok who else cheered and laughed when he fell?

It's all marketing for his gum business. He's not trying to win an Emmy.
And it's working, his gum is selling well.
Does his claim of the 1K record count if he had assistance from that guy to get back up?
You are easily amused. Like a tabby cat.
You have to give him a lot of credit. He's enjoying life after a successful professional running career. Owns his own business and is having fun.
Atta Boy Nick!
Go Run One!!
