Seems like the pros are as dick of the Flotrack shenanigans as the rest of us.

Make that *sick
If he wants to be taken seriously by Flotrack, he needs to hire a lawyer and bring this court. Their reputation is already tarnished enough, they won't care what one guy tweets at them and won't take action.
They have operated under "even bad publicity is still publicity" for a looong time. Terrible business model.

They flipped the article to free. Action taken, no lawyer required. Flotrack isn’t as bad as everybody makes them out to be.
...but you still have to register, and I sure as hell ain't doing that!
I love Flotrack. Most people do. Just because there are 10 people on this site who are cheap doesn't mean that they don't offer a good product at a reasonable price.

wow! You obviously work for Flotrack.
Cowardly behavior by FloTrack. their days are numbered.
I am counting. Betting the negative comments come from 10 people. D1 College coaches and runners and their families all like Flotrack. I think the other runners feel slighted and the cheapskates don't like to pay for anything.
How about as a professional or elite collegiate runner you get $0 from track but they get to make money off of you. You’d be cool with that? Does it make sense why the pros don’t really like flotrack?
Flotrack is trash and everyone knows it. They even put basic news articles behind paywalls.
Flotrack is more expensive than netflix and they barely even produce any content.
Agree. Flotrack is not worth the price they charge. Garbage business strategy.

Bring them to court for what? Murphy does not own the photo the person who took it - Kirby Lee - does. If Mr Lee has an agreement with Flocrap then they can use what ever photo they want in what ever way they want.
The only one who would have a complaint of Flocrap using the photo is Mr Lee. Oh and Flo has had the reputation of using photos that does not belong to them and using with permission or paying for its use.
All that being said I am glad that Mr Murphy (and if you saw Mrs Murphy did as well ) went after them and I hope when he gets back to racing he will remember this and refuse to talk to them

Its an unreasonable price. I definitely wouldn't consider it a good product now. You must be a shill to enjoy paying to watch no racing.
Every pro I know likes Flotrack. Too bad you crybabies didn't come up with the business model first.

Then I guess it is safe to assume you don't know Clayton Murphy
Let's take a look at some of the articles they charge money to read. From their front page:
Ritz Retires
A video analyzing the 5k Kurgat ran in December at Boston University
Joe Klecker and Makena Morley Turn Professional
Is the Pac-12 Secretly Overrated in XC?
A workout Wednesday from 2013 featuring Emily Sisson
A workout Wednesday from 2017 with Elinor Purrior
A 2012 workout Wednesday with Colorado
A breakdown of the 2016 NCAA XC race won by Schweizer
The sad part is their content isn't any better even when there is a track season.
If you feel content doesn't warrant payment:

Most people aren't stupid enough to buy a subscription to begin with.
I wouldn't view 99% of their content if they paid me to. Their commentators are dumb and annoying.

When you start charging for interviews you must be desperate. J Crew & JC Penny please make room for Flotrack.
