The 800 is actually probably one of the events least one need of additional pacing help. Right now the 1500-10,000 would definitely benefit if a pacer could push on from 900-1200 in the 1500, 3000-4600 in the 5000, and really the whole second half of a 10,000. The Woody Kincaid 5,000 as well as the crazy-fast 5,000 where Kejelcha pushed just show how much faster these guys are than their typical times in these races.

They did that once, but it was actually the same guy pacing 400 to 800 as 0 to 400. Rudisha I think his name was.
