I decided to do some interval work up and down the street, I’m used to running my with teammates so my solo pacing was pretty bad, but I just wanted to make sure I got a good workout. There was 2 min walking rest in between. Splits: 3:00, 3:00, 2:50, 2:59, 2:54, 2:54. It felt pretty hard overall, but only all out on the last 2. Where do you think my 3 mile fitness is now, and is sub 18 achievable next season, (with base phase, another set of interval work, good race) My mileage has been recently bumped from 35 to 40 mpw and I’m a freshman in hs who started running in the fall.
