Can someone please explain to me how some of our most distrustful people of the federal government on our message board for the last 10 years have suddenly become fully trustful of the government that people they call terrorists are indeed terrorists with no due process or proof?

I remember 2004, when Democrats were so desperate to get rid of W. Bush that they rushed to latch onto the first primary candidate who showed a tiny bit of momentum: John Kerry, whom I think we could charitably characterize as not the strongest candidate to be the standardbearer for the Dems. And W, though so widely reviled and contemned, won in the Electoral College and won the popular vote--something no Republican would do for 20 years.
I could see a similar scenario in 2028. Really, whom do the Democrats have? The best they've got are a gay guy and some women. I think any of them would make a good competent POTUS, but I don't think a majority of voters would be willing to take a chance on the unfamiliar.

The US voting population will simply swing back and forth from one party to the other. The campaign will start 18 months before the election, but that's just for the nomination. The general election result is baked in...the Republican will lose and the Democrat will win.
The only thing American voters can measure is their dislike of politicians in office and their boredom. They will vote the opposite they voted last time. Because they do not like politicians in office and they get bored of the same old same old.
No Republican has much of a chance in 2028.

The main reason ADHD is “treated” in children at is that all over socialized women (teachers and mothers) confuse the behavioral correlates of being on the drugs with the those of over socialization (e.g. doe-eyed compliance, silence, stillness)—or they don’t care.
