I know, right? What kind of idiot doesn't know that Ukraine started taking back major cities 6 months ago? The kind of idiot that shouldn't be commenting about the war in Ukraine, obviously. Only a complete moron with no knowledge of Ukraine and current events would call Ukraine's recent gains mere villages and want to know when Ukraine would start taking back real cities. Hello, it happened 6 months ago!! Why don't these yokels pay a little attention?
UkroNazis still losing. Russia controls large areas of Ukraine territory. Will update tmrw
But Nazi Russia
In 2018, the United States congress said Ukraine is a Nazi government. They United States government never said this about Russia. The New York Times is one thing, but the American government saying this is next level Ukraine Nazi:
"The letter states that “It’s particularly troubling that much of the Nazi glorification in Ukraine is government-supported.” It noted ceremonies, gestures and legislation venerating leaders of the UPA and OUN militias, who fought alongside Nazi Germany during World War II and whose troops participated in atrocities against Jews and other victims."
DUBAI. KAZINFORM - The tallest tower in the world - the Burj Khalifa in Dubai (UAE) - was lit up on Friday portraying the Russian flag to celebrate Russia Day. Kazinform has learnt from TASS.
Ukraine is going to be the worst country in the world once this is over. Like Afghanistan, but in Europe.
Thanks Biden.
But they won't be Russian. Therefore, they are approximately twelve million times better off than without Biden's support. Thanks for playing.
p.s. Russia (or what's left of it) will be the worst country in the world once this is over. Just like they have been for the last 40 years.
To add to this, there is definitely a pacifist case against war in Ukraine where Ukraine just rolls over to Russia in exchange for peace and then uses non-violent resistance to seek liberation from Russian oppression. And it is a glaring omission by those who claim to be "anti-war" that this is rarely mentioned. Instead, it is always this BS anti-US imperialism analysis that ends up giving Russia a bit of a free pass just to make a point about US imperialism.
But for Ukraine, there is a long history with Russia that guides the urgency with which they take on Russia's aggression. Well beyond the most egregious examples like the Holodomor and the ethnic cleansing of the Crimean Tatars, there has always been a view in Russia that Ukrainians are just a bunch of dirty surfs who should just serve their Russian masters. That is really not hyperbole. You can see it in Russian propaganda and how Russia has been carrying out its "military" campaign against Ukraine as well as the filtration camps for resettling Ukrainians, torture rooms, and the forced adoption of children displaced from war zones. The cost of war with Russia does not seem to be such a big sacrifice when compared to what life would be like under Russian rule.

What I find interesting is that Russia had this dim view of Ukraine while Ukraine was the acknowledged heart of Soviet science, engineering, and technology; a tradition that continues to this day with the ingenuity and adaptability of the Ukrainian forces.
Researchers attempt to calculate the number of deaths attributable to the war on terrorism, across Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Somalia and Yemen.

I’d like to correct your assertions from this article if I may.
Nazi’s in Ukraine are fighting for INDEPENDENCE by starting this war in 2013, by attacking people based on ethnicity before Russia was ever there. Before 2022, they weren’t fighting for national independence. Before 20222, they were just run-of-the-mill fascist Nazis targeting civilians based on ethnicity. You see, it’s the independence component that makes Ukraine fascism against civilians while wearing Nazi clothing ok. But only after 2022, when their “independence” (freedom to ethnic cleanse its own people with impunity) was threatened by an outside nation for the first time. Before 2022, their independence was to ethnic cleanse and it was only threatened inside Ukraine by the Ukrainian victims they were attacking based on ethnicity.
Pre-2022 “independence” = preserve the right to attack civilians based on ethnicity by arming Nazis factions
Post-2022 “independence” = The same thing + fighting humanitarians from another country who want to block your Nazi fascism
Thought I would clarify because this article is from 2018, although that doesn't change Ukraine government being Nazi enablers.

A+ for rote memorization and parroting something you heard on NPR or read on Mother Jones. F for understanding the complex origins of the war in Ukraine.
BTW, Stalin was the consummation of decades of radical activism from the social justice warriors in Russia like yourself.

A for being a pro-Russian Nazi parroting whatever BS propaganda you heard on TASS.
F for demonstrating more intelligence than the turd in some dead RussoNazi's panties.
The "complex" origins of the war in Ukraine isn't really that complicated. Putin is a grade-A *sswipe leading a Nazi-infested sh*thole of a country that has precisely zero future. I know it. You know it. Putin knows it. His only hope not being remembered as the biggest failure to lead the biggest failure of a country in the history of humankind was a to demonstrate Russia's military might by invading Ukraine. In reality, he's cemented himself as not only a terrible leader, but also as a terrible military strategist and a war criminal that will be remembered for how overjoyed people were to watch his body twitch one last time while he was hanged in Red Square. Russia has been 100% totally f*cked for a long time. Putin has just done his part to speed Russia's demise as it circles the drain.

If both your versions of Ukraine's independence are about keeping their ethnic cleansing / fascism in tact, that's not worth fighting for.
Fighting against another nation just to still be fascists doesn't suddenly make Nazi attire and pre-2022 Donbas invading fascism ok.
It does work to hide the truth though, and play a fake victim card. Ukraine has that going for them.
Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine are areas of Ukraine that are currently controlled by Russia in the course of the Russo-Ukrainian War. In Ukrainian law, they are defined as the "temporarily occupied territories of Ukr...
A year ago Nazi Ukraine controlled 0% of Russia. Today Nazi Ukraine controls 0% of Russia.
Probing UkroNazi attacks have not yet come close to reaching Russia's main defensive lines, which are much deeper. The sides are swapping villages in heated battles.
The primary concern for UkroNazis' counteroffensive is being repulsed without actually getting close to the real battles that await. Fixed Russian drones are spotting UkroNazi movements then Russia's air space control goes to work before UkroNazis ever get close. But more or less even on the outer fringes, where UkroNazis cannot get beyond.

Exactly.
I am still annoyed at the US and NATO for not being able to find ways to counter the Bears launching standoff missiles from the Caspian Sea. That's one area Russia is winning at.
They are trying to play the long game and stall for time.

Russia can win only if they drag it out 4-6 more years, due to war fatigue from the West. That's their trump card.
Ukraine needs to be fast, decisive and the West needs to keep supplying weapons and knowledge to help them win the war.
In NFL terms Ukraine is the K-Gun 1990 Buffalo Bills--fast attack and hurry up and go! The Russkies are the 1990 Giants--they want to turn it into an attrition-like rockfight. I know you like the NFL...

In the '80s NATO always feared the Soviet units coming from Ukraine SSR, Category-A units like the 20th and 8th Tank Guards (?). I may be wrong on the exact units, but some of their best units were from Ukraine SSR that they'd deploy to the DDR and attack through either the Fulda Gap or the NGP (North German Plain).
US had V and VII Corps, IIRC, to defend West Germany.
