Greetings, fellow 50+ers! And happy World Championships week!
For me this week was an example of “two steps forward, one step back.” I was making some progress on the speed front, when my knee started acting up again and I had to shut down Thursday’s run early. It’s still a little sore, but getting better, and I’m hopeful to resume running in a couple more days. So put me down for just 11 miles of actual running for the week.
My thanks to Cavorty for the great link regarding CoQ10. My favorite part of the abstract was this line: “The data suggests that CoQ10 treatment can act to influence the fibre type composition towards the fibre type profile generally found in younger individuals.” It’s the fountain of youth! I look forward to reading the cited articles.
