Of all the stupid shift these Russia fans say, this sentiment is the one I really don't get how they convince themselves to say. First, you'll notice they can't bring themselves to ever actually finish the thought, which appears to be "I'm pretty sure you can't win, so you're an idiot if you don't either flee your home and country, or lay down your arms and subject yourself to Russian occupation and tyranny."
And the premise seems to be that it is illogical to defend yourself if the person trying to harm you is bigger/stronger and your hopes of fighting them off are low. Who is any third party to criticize another person's decision to risk or give their lives defending themselves against a murderous invader? Was every society or country that defended itself against a bigger/badder invader just full of misguided fools who should have just laid down? And is capitulating to Russians any kind of guarantee that you'll live? Nothing we've seen from Russia suggests they don't enjoy killing unarmed Ukrainians by the thousands as well.
Ukrainians seem to want to fight to the death to keep Russia from occupying their country. That's their decision. More power to them. You'd have to be some zealot scumbag like Lolly and 2-3 others here to question that personal life and death decision.

The meeting between H W Bush & Gorbachev was originally schedule to be held on Island of Malta, December, 1989.
