The Transcon Governing Body (TGB) has been made aware that Mr. Goodge will not recognize the body’s recent official disqualification of his run. This is evidenced by new false media reports being published confirming the run as sound, with additional inaccurate representation of a record being broken by Mr. Goodge with the crossing.
An emergency meeting was just held by the governing body to take additional measures to ensure parallel, accurate media reports are published stating the governing body’s official disqualification. Those reports will be published through numerous national reporting agencies in the next 48 hours.
Further, to ensure permanent historical recording of the official disqualification, the Governing Body will be serving NuCalm-Flonum Waters LLC, dba, “NuCalm”, with a cease and desist letter barring them from publishing any claims of Mr. Goodge’s run as sound.

This is despite the fact thatbthe Lees time is about to pass in a few hours and it's now clear that Goodge is not going to breakbthe record. So they are still claiming the record even though they know they are outside the time. This is getting even worse.

I'm looking at the post. It doesn't say anything with that line on it. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong one. But, I don't see it. It says you can join him for the final 7.8 miles. At the top it says Run Across America. Nothing on it says that above quote. can you point me in the right direction?

Do you really think a single person is donating money because of that line? IMO, I highly doubt it. They are donating because he ran across the flipping United States. They would have donated if he does it in 54 days or in 104 days. Frankly, the longer the better for donation purposes. The line was used to pull in the sponsors.

Watch the “64 Days, 50 Miles a Day” video on Goodge’s Instagram page. In the video, he says, “I’m gonna be the fastest Brit of all time to run across the US.”
We wouldn’t have nearly 100 pages on this stunt if not for the claim that he’s breaking a record. It’s not just “marketing lines.”
