We have a new 2024 vaccine thread here. New people don't need to try to wade through 20,000 posts to figure out what is going on.
Boy did you ever miss it again. I’m merely playing your game. If you assert something, provide evidence or it isn’t true. You say you’re a scientist. Prove it. I have my doubts.
2600 bro's occupation or credentials have zero bearing on the safety or efficacy of vaccines.
Settle down, son. This isn’t 2021. The safety and efficacy of the vaccines are no longer a relevant topic.
First,
AZ

And it has been shown to you several times that Omicron ended the pandemic - something the vaccines failed at.
McCullough got sued because he kept trying to pretend he was a Real Doctor at a Hospital after Baylor fired him.
That's just so pathetic.
And of course you're never going to get convinced by me. Antivaxx is your personality now. It's the contrarian belief that makes you feel in-control in this crazy world. Sadly being, like, a big football fan doesn't do it for some particularly low-agency people, they need to actually kill people to feel powerful. Dark...
Your powers of persuasion are so poor that you resort to (assumed) character attacks again.
Nope, I thought many people should get vaccinated. Just not all people. There's a difference.
My personality is actually to play your foil, you know, a guy who is still stuck in 2021 and has no identity anymore, buys fringe crypto with no foundational, fundamental backing to it, and absolutely lacks humility and can't stand to be called out on anything.
It’s funny - I first met Harambe in 2004 when I was vacationing on the Gulf Coast. We’ve stayed in touch ever since.
I remember it well. Glad we could link up in Cincy in 2016 too.
Makes sense why you guys believe the Chinese were biting the heads off bats causing Covid and that it being developed in a lab where Doctors were getting sick in Nov 19 is a crazy notion.
Let’s return to providing evidence for vaccine side effects exceeding the risks of COVID and turbo cancer.
Proceed.
Sorry, I don’t believe you man, not until you post an actual CV, which shouldn’t be hard if you’re a recent retiree. Your timeline for lab leak vs. zoonosis epiphany on the Pandemic of the Unvaccinated thread is completely inconsistent with Wiki. So you have been to Asilomar? So we’ve met?
Do you think I’m making up the story about my buddy who was diagnosed with heart inflammation and sarcoidosis but w no lung granulomas? I’m totally serious. A guy who has a defibrillator, is on Prednisone and methotrexate with no alleviation, and anti-v tach meds is make believe? Stuff that first manifested right after his booster and as pain in his neck and ears, so much so that he can pinpoint the time frame in a guy who was young and remarkably fit and had zero medical issues? Whose only fault was that he was a rabid pro-vaxxer like yourself and is now, perhaps, getting his comeuppance? A guy who, very sadly is trying to convince himself he has Lyme myocarditis because he can’t accept the cognitive dissonance?
He’s not in any vaccine-injury database I can assure you, and he never will be. Is he just a casualty of war? Do you recommend a heart transplant for him? Is his life less worthy than yours?
If you really are a David Baltimore, then you should know better than to troll on a message board about things like zoonosis before the facts are in. But troll you did. Also, you would know that we know less about immunology than we actually know. As a one-time medical academic advisor once told me, immunology is where you go to die. So don’t go there.
I’ve already conceded that there are many people who should’ve and needed to get vaccinated. Can you concede that there are probable vaccine-induced injuries out there that aren’t captured in the official CDC data but may be starting to get picked up in disability data? Dr. Birx had gotten there… is she an idiot?

you are literally making it all up. Or you are falling ridiculously hard for confirmation bias.
There are no signals of pervasive undetected vaccine injured in any national health system’s data. Are you alleging a world wide conspiracy? Trillions of dollars of GDP to protect a few hundred billion of public company market cap. Are Bourla and Bancel that powerful?
It’s tin foil hat level when you spell out what it would take for what you allege to be true.

I remember our slow cruise on 17 mile drive like it was yesterday. There was love in the air.
Interesting. I had read that tinnitus was a vaccine AE, but I didn't realize how common it was.
Remember the NYTimes article I posted last week?
About 1 in 5 comments to the article made unsolicited responses that they personally (or spouse) had experienced a severe vaccine adverse event. The two most common AEs mentioned were tinnitus and shingles. The rest of the AEs ran the gamut of known AEs.
I actually know of a shingles reactivation too. And a EBV reactivation. Now, they both resolved themselves, so no big deal. But, you have to wonder what sort of immune dysregulation might be going on there - especially when you have a Dr. Birx confessing the vaccines might be causing long Covid, which is clinically indistinguishable from the CFS the Japanese doctor says the vaccines are causing.
Imagine the gumption of calling (or implying) any doctor an idiot, like how Harambe is characterizing this Japanese doc. It’s not like these guys are Jordon Walker DEI/AA admits and consultants. Whatever happened to that guy?
I didn't know that EBV reactivation was another AE.
I have chronic EBV. About ten years ago, I was diagnosed and told there was no cure. I researched online and found lots of testimonials for Lauricidin (monolaurin). It cured my EBV. I now take Lauricidin about once a week. If I feel any early flu-like symptoms, I take it again and the symptoms disappear. I haven't had an EBV flair-up in 10 years. Prior to that, it was happening about every six months.

Im sure well meaning skeptics like sub 9 are frustrated by your puerile attempts at trolling.
Actually, I find him hilarious. He’s one of the primary reasons I keep coming back. I quite enjoy people who call out your self-love and arrogance. Also, I don’t think anyone has used ANY word more than you’ve used the word puerile in the past few years. You must’ve learned that word during a particularly impressionable SAT year. Perhaps Monkeys Skyping can sort it out. It does make you sound so smart though…

I don’t actually know that it is. I just know a story of a colleague who developed it right after getting boosted, and a different person with shingles reactivation, and I found it all very odd. But it stands to reason all sorts of “Herpes” viruses would get reactivated if provoked by an immune-system dysregularory event, even if temporary.
I believe your experience with Lauricidin. I’ve heard it can help with all manner of things, including CFS and to dissolve bacterial biofilms in chronic lyme, for example, though I am not familiar with it.

Childish repetitive jokes are funny for a few minutes. The fact that you find it humorous for months is enlightening. But the fact remains that mindless trolls like yolos are associated with your “movement” and harm the antivaxx image.
Didn’t you take Latin in grade school? Don’t hate on my words, man.

Gentlemen, are you aware of a recently emerged virus that has real evidence for EBV reactivation?
Interestingly COVID vaccination was shown to decrease detectable viral signatures in patients with long COVID.
Another main finding of our study is that anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination played a protective role against DNA virus activations (EBV, HSV, CVM, and parvovirus-B19), as demonstrated at the patient level.
So, it seems that vaccines may be protective against these reactivations, at least compared to COVID infection.
