I think you need to read more up in the events that led up to the 1967 war. Imo the soviets are responsible for a lot of what happened.
Nassar screwed up and backed himself in a corner and ordered the UN out and closed the strait of tiran after he talked a lot of trash and gathered troops on the Sinai.
Israel told Jordan it didn’t have a beef with them and would only do a major attack if Jordan attacked. Jordan screwed up and thought Egypt was doing well and then attacked. Israel did not plan to take the West Bank as part of the war.
It should be also noted am that after the 1967 war Israel thought it showed the Arab nations it could not be wiped out and tried to negotiate to give back Sinai to Egypt for peace and the Golan to Syria for peace and the answer Israel got back was no peace, no negotiations , no recognition.
Actually Israel attacked in 1967. Took a bunch of land in six short days (weird given the Arabs were supposedly ready for war). And began moving Jews onto the captured lands immediately.
Most of the Zionists who established Israel were not religious. The war of 1948 was seen as a religious war from a lot of the Arab side. Not so much from the early Zionists.
have you looked up the amount of land Israel offered to give up after the 1967 war and did give up when it made peace with Egypt?
it was a huge percentage of Israel took over in the war. Israel removed settlements and gave up on having oil fields that Israel developed on the Sinai.
I guess you missed the part where they were forced to move from their homes and forced to live in the Gaza which Israel took from Egypt and the the West Bank which they took from Jordan. They are still there to this very day.
The six day war was primarily defensive. Egypt was amassing forces on their border. Israel just beat them to the punch. The aim of the six day war was not to invade, the aim was to keep from being overrun. It was not a land grab.
Wrong. Who lived in Ethiopia before them? Since you said every nation on Earth was founded by people that didn't live on that land originally.
We'll never know because the people that survived killed them all.
Just because they're black doesn't mean they're the original tribe you racist dipsh*t.
Wrong again. You may want to read Judges 1 again. They didn't kill them all. Why? Because the folks in the plains had chariots fitted with Iron. God was with the men of Judah and even he couldn't beat them. They survived. Not my words...but the words of Bible.
Also we know most today are in present day Lebanon. There is no archeological evidence to support the destruction of Canaanite cities in the bronze or Iron ages.

Wrong. Israel fired first unprovoked. Israel had already invaded Egypt in 1955.
Israel in 67 came into Egypt from the north by air, surprising the Egyptians who assumed they would come from the East. The Israeli Air Force took out most of Egypts runways, rendering their air defense useless.

This is such a dead end argument. No one cares about historical land claims. There are 15M people living in Israel and Palestine; > 80% of them born there. They have the truest claim to the land.
Yes might makes right - but there are solutions that enable self-determination and happiness + prosperity for everyone.
Solutions won’t make everyone happy.
A big problem is some people are more interested in trying to correct what they think is a historical injustice rather than working towards enabling self determination for everyone. they don’t see the other people as worthy amid having a nation.
Combine that where some people put more priority on religious texts than secular laws or national interests and it makes it really difficult to get anywhere.
Abraham was 6'3" according to most Biblical scholars. Muhammad was a little wimpy thang. Abraham could beat the ever-living p!ss out of Muhammad. Not even close.
Abraham, the same old ass dude who purposely went to Egypt and knew if he said Sarah was his wife he would be killed, so he said it was his younger sister. What a wimp. Couldn't even defend his own wife.
Muhammad was a bigger polygamist than Brigham Young. He was a carnal pervert, slave owner, and he spread his fake stories by the sword. And he was a short wimpy guy who suffered from anxiety and freak outs. There's no glory in following Muhammad like you get from level-headed guys like Abraham, Moses, Noah, Nebuchadnezzar, etc.
Maybe the the world should build a ton of vans like the one in Up In Smoke and put the most development sex dolls in them and drop them everywhere in Israel and the West Bank and Gaza and light them up — after the dolls jump out. then get negotiations going?

Even if you’re right about any of this, you’re still basically an apologetic for the worst type of human beings on the planet. Whatever happens to Hamas and Gaza at this point is because of their own action. So many Hamas sympathizers, or should I say anti-Semites, showing up and showing out online and in the media. The lack of self awareness is astounding. Whataboutism in the face of what has happened recently is just a futile attempt to distract from the atrocities committed by terrorists.
You’re wasting your time trying to convince anyone that something in the 40s and 50s may have or may not have happened. Who cares at this point. A week ago, armed terrorists committed heinous acts against mostly civilians of Israel. The information keeps coming out and gets worse by the day regarding the acts Hamas committed. Hamas won’t be happy unless every Israeli is dead, they deserve everything that they get. Unfortunately civilians will be collateral damage, that too is due to the selfish acts of Hamas. No water? Hamas dug up the water pipes to make bombs. No hospital? Hamas put their intelligence centers inside the hospital so now Israel has to bomb said hospital. Hamas’ fault. No power? Hamas spent all their money on weapons of war instead of building another power plant. Civilians getting bombed? Hamas told them not to leave their homes.
Stop wasting your time trying to convince us that what our eyes are telling us is the truth. Hamas is evil and should be dealt with accordingly. People who try to rationalize Hamas’ actions aren’t good people, either. Maybe not evil, but certainly misguided and probably a little ignorant.

I may have given the wrong message with my previous post. I agree that things could be a lot better with solutions that would bring determination and prosperity and more happiness for the vast majority of people.

That is not what happened after the 6 Day War in 1967.
Palestinians call 1948 "al-Nakba", or "the Catastrophe". Up to 750,000 Palestinians fled or were expelled from the land that became Israel, and were never allowed back.
In 1967 LBJ warned the Israelis not to fire the first shot. They didn't listen. Israel said, "If we wait for seven to nine days, there will be thousands dead. It's not logical to wait. Let's strike first and then look after the political side." Everyone who was there had no doubt that the decision had been taken. Israel was going to war. The cabinet ratified it the next morning. In Egypt, Nasser predicted Israel would attack on 4 or 5 June. He based his observation on the progress of an Iraqi armed division, which was heading towards the Jordan Valley and Israel. He knew Israel would not tolerate such a change in the balance of forces. Surprise attack By 07:40am on 5 June, Ezer Weizman could hardly stand the suspense in the Air Force command center in the ministry of defense in Tel Aviv. The Israeli war plan depended on a surprise attack, called Operation Focus, which would destroy the Arab air forces on the ground, starting with Egypt. They had trained for it for years and the first wave of attacks was about to go in. Unlike the Egyptians and the other Arab armies, the Israelis had done their homework. They had flown hundreds of reconnaissance missions over the years to build up an accurate picture of every airbase in Egypt, Jordan and Syria. Pilots had a target book, giving the details of their layouts, call signs and defenses.
In the five days that followed Israel routed the armies of Egypt, Jordan and Syria. It captured the Gaza Strip and the Sinai desert from Egypt; the Golan Heights from Syria; and the West Bank and East Jerusalem, from Jordan. For the first time in almost two millennia the Jewish holy places in Jerusalem were under the control of Jews. More Palestinians were expelled, fled or were killed, though not on the scale of 1948.

Really? I thought Muhammad flew his horse to the Moon and cut it in half with his sword? Isn't that what they teach their children in the Middle East?
They teach girls in the middle east how to dress in hajibs and grey or brown sack dresses, look down at the ground, and carry overloaded shopping bags. Not much else. They teach boys how to sit around drinking coffee, watch TV, and daydream about Jihad on the infidels. Maybe how to drive an overheated bus or stuff a footstool too. But not much else. Which is why most of those countries (the ones without oil) are in a perpetual state of outrage, frustration and backward-a$$ 1950s engineering. They will be junkie dependent on the technology of the very infidels they hate, and they will never progress in any aspect of modern society until they get rid of the pervasive, stifling confines of Islamic rule. Which will never happen, so . . . .
That does not refute what I said. Or how do you think it does?
Israel has removed all its settlements in Gaza. Israel does not want Gaza.
when Israel made peace with Egypt, it gave back control of the Sinai to Egypt and removed all its settlements on the Sinai. The Sinai is a huge percentage of the land Israel captured in the 1967 war.

Palestine is so small. It's hard to believe their citizens didn't know hamas were going on a killing spree of jews. They started this. Israel should finish it.
