The campaign is light on policy and is trying harder to get never Trumpers and centrist independents on board instead of trying to get out youth vote which is polling about 60/40 for Harris.
I think there is a key difference vs Hillary's campaign. They are not taking voters for granted. They understand the margins are tiny and they are thoroughly on top of their ground game. Obama's folks are involved. They have more money and there are smart people deploying it. The policy issue is VERY delicate. It's a balance - americans are fkn dumb and dont digest details well. They need cliff notes and the MSM has no values. They'll focus on what yields clicks, not the facts. People don't geberally like traditional politicians. Trump supporters are still under the impression that he's the right guy to break the kitchen. There is no one on the left that sells kitchen breaking and thats a good thing.
Harris has done 2 things very well and this is why she'll win:
- She's running as the generic Democrat. People don't want Trump or Biden. They want something different.
- She's stealing issues that play into voters' emotions. She's not stoking fears but she's coming up with constructive easy solutions.
The two things above are going to give her the edge she needs with undecideds and independents.

That's an idiotic statement that shows ignorance of how criminal cases typically proceed. A lot of the information disclosed today was already in the Indictment. And ALL of the information disclosed today has been provided to Trump's lawyers through the discovery process long ago. And a lot of the evidence (if not the majority) is testimony from Trump's friends, advisors, lawyers, co-conspirators and staff, including conversations with Trump himself, so he was well aware of most of this stuff before the case was ever filed.
Anything not previously disclosed in the Indictment is being disclosed now because the Supreme Court ordered that it be done this way. Usually, evidence not disclosed in the Indictment is not publicly disclosed until the trial. This case is different because the Supreme Court said its different. The prosecution had no interest at all in drafting a 165 page evidentiary brief that basically sets forth their trial strategy in detail a year before trial. They were ordered to do so by the Supreme Court.
