This thread was deleted by a volunteer moderator. I certainly don't want a thread this big deleted so I've restored. THat being said, this thread has served it's purpose. I've closed it to new posts.
We have a new 2024 vaccine thread here. New people don't need to try to wade through 20,000 posts to figure out what is going on.
You should've warned my vaccinated friend to be more careful then, because she was told by her government that she couldn't spread it post-vaccination, so she went about her business blissfully unaware. Lots of people did. Tens of millions.
Why are you friends with someone who needs the government to tell them that being sick means you should avoid social interactions?
Because she wasn’t really “that sick,” thought she merely didn’t feel right because of having just had flu/shingles vaccines. That’s the false confidence that stemmed from having her government, and people like you, tell her that she couldn’t spread Covid if she was vaccinated. Pretty simple. Lots of people ran with that BS narrative. Tens of millions. And, guess what? They spread Covid. Even as I didn’t, comically. Ironic.

I love how this story is changing. Why was she getting the flu and shingles vaccine?
So she was actually asymptomatic for a COVID breakthrough infection and she spread to you? Did you kiss?

be honest....
It’s not changing. It’s not a story. It’s the facts. She felt mildly ill (because she had “breakthrough” Covid) which she attributed to getting her flu/shingles shots because her government (and you) told her she couldn’t have Covid. But, alas, she did, and she got me (and others) sick.
I have no idea why she got those vaccines. I have no idea why anyone who’s not in a high risk group would get a Covid vaccine. But she’s one of those overzealous, hypervaccinated types, so…
It’s the guys m.o. first his daughter was a doctor, then med school then premed (where they don’t even do hospital work), then she’s 12.
now it’s something else with his “co-worker “ do you think that the anecdote people would at least be able to get their story straight?
Oh look, Dexter’s back, with absolutely zero value to add, as usual. Welcome back guy. My made up friends and family are terribly inconvenient for you and your buddies, because they represent everyone who’s not actually supposed to exist in the Covid playbook - ya know, vaccinated superspreaders, severely vax-injured people, and pre-med students being turned away from shadowing ERs because of their vax status and not their actual Covid status. It’s so crazy that it sounds made up, doesn’t it? Lol.

Can you give me a month and year for this story?
Now if she had read the clinical trials she would understand the efficacy against PCR+ disease was 95% even against the original strain.
Nah, this is his best work, both because there’s more than a modicum of truth to it and because it irritates you so.
If you compare cumulative % infected to COVID deaths across time... it's very hard to make the case that natural immunity ended the pandemic.
But evidence isn't really something I expect from you. Can you tell me a story about natural immunity? I'd enjoy that.
Ok, well then, we’ll just say infection with Omicron (after vaccination OR prior infection) ended the pandemic. Distinction without much of a difference.
Has it ever occurred to you that nobody cares that you think you have the authority to expect/not expect evidence or poo poo evidence that doesn’t comport with your views? Bro, you guys are so 2021. It must eat you alive.
Speaking of alive (and well), I’m your story about natural immunity. It’s me!😮

"You dont have the authority to make me back up my claims with evidence!"
sure, I can't argue with that :)
Nope, just saying you’re not the arbiter of truth or of who does or doesn’t exist. Because you’re not. You don’t actually matter and neither does your opinion. And you’re stuck in 2021, which is comical. But let’s keep going…

So you will start providing evidence for your claims?
I already have. You either don’t like the data set or it’s the typical, well sure, the “science evolves.” And, again, how can one provide evidence which doesn’t exist? You think VAERS is remotely accurate or reflective of broad society? But of course you do.
I’m just saying you’re not that important to be making demands, because you’re not. I don’t believe you’re even a scientist. Post your CV or I don’t believe you. Where’s your evidence?

No, VAERS sucks. Useless for assessing COVID vaccine side effects. It's just a confounded mess of "mandatory" reporting of any severe event within a week/month of the vaccination.
But don't worry! There have been plenty of controlled studies looking side effects of vaccination!
"how can one provide evidence which doesn’t exist?"
