This thread was deleted by a volunteer moderator. I certainly don't want a thread this big deleted so I've restored. THat being said, this thread has served it's purpose. I've closed it to new posts.
We have a new 2024 vaccine thread here. New people don't need to try to wade through 20,000 posts to figure out what is going on.
Small segments of society must be incentivized to make smart choices. Just a fact of life. Doesn't mean we shouldn't try.
Spoken like a true fascist though. Good job revealing your true character (resembling many in government).
Public health measures are not fascist.
Remember you (or the "tens of millions" of others, citation needed), couldve chose a company that didnt have health rules that required vaccinations, or chosen to test weekly to get around vaccine requirements, or many other things.
People took the vaccine willingly for a variety of reasons. More people are employed now than before COVID. The number of people that "lost their livelihood" because the resisted vaccinated is maybe 1/100th of the number of people that died of COVID.
I’d like to apologize for my treatment of Harambro (and any of his other aliases) last week. I was very hard on him and used some choice language in my posts. I had enough of his constant spreading of misinformation and lashed out a few times. For that I apologize unreservedly. I’ll strive to do better. 👍
"Dowd also thinks that the CV19 bioweapon shot pushers are trying to change the narrative to admit “some deaths” happened, but the amount is small. Dowd calls BS on that, and he thinks the death and injuries are at least 33 million in the USA alone. According to Dowd’s research, the CV19 vax was a criminal enterprise that murdered and seriously harmed millions. Dowd thinks the deaths and injuries from the CV19 vax are going to get worse. Dowd thinks Johns Hopkins and the rest of the medical community are trying to change the narrative, so they don’t get blamed for pushing a massive death and disability CV19 vax program."
Yes, we do have the right. It's called living in a society. You have to go 20 mph in a school zone.
Also, the vast majority of people were given the choice of get the vax OR test/ mask. Instead, they whined about the later and didn't do either. I'm glad they got fired.
Since we’ve established that you are about 12 years old (ok, maybe 18), I suppose you don’t recognize the saying, “a difference without a distinction.” Many of us, like myself, masked, tested, and quarantined when sick, developing excellent sterilizing immunity, which our health authorities were eventually, painfully forced to acknowledge. We were excellent stewards of the community and maybe better stewards than those who simply caved to the coercion and the commensurate risk that came along with taking 2-4 iterations of a very unvetted, new “vaccine” technology, perpetuating variants along the way.
In fact, the person who gave me COVID was a good little vaccinated sheep and thought she couldn’t spread it because she was told so, so she accompanied me WHILE SICK. I’ve brought this up many times on here, but you’re new to the thread. Welcome.
congrats, you were an excellent "steward" but you still fell way short. You are patting yourself on the back for getting 3/5th of the way there. Your marathon PR is probably from mile 16.
also, you suffered less because you were standing on the shoulders of giants who took the vax first and lessened the disease for you. You're welcome.
lol "unvetted". Well that's a new one to try, I guess. This brand new 30+ year old technology.

LOL. Someone giving me COVID while they had symptoms is the vaccines fault!!!

30 year old technology but 10 years as a “vaccine,” and tested in vitro, then in ferrets for the majority of that time, when we don’t have good, in vivo lipid-nanoparticle specificity yet?? You do realize the bivalent was never tested in humans, right, it was literally tested in a handful of mice and then an extrapolation was done??
I lessened the disease as much or more than you. I know that’s hard to swallow, but it’s true. I masked, tested, and quarantined when sick. Unlike my super spreading, vaccinated friend who thought she couldn’t spread it. I developed rock solid immunity, not narrow humoral immunity to a “super antigen.,” so it stands to virological reason that of course I’m not continuing to get sick while others around me, vaccinated, are. In no way did I provide an environment potentiating the cultivation of variants.
If I had chosen not to test and quarantine, then maybe you’d have a point. But you don’t. You are arguing with the wrong person, and, frankly, wasting your time.

you tried to back to the tired old well and fail. Take the L bud.
Harmless desires of spreading COVID. Especially at a time when the vaccines provided excellent sterilizing immunity!
You don't have a right to harm your neighbor to see Despicable Me 3
Simply pointing out your assertion that people “chose” to get vaccinated because they knew it would help them was wrong. Tens of millions chose it for the simple reason they feared they would lose their job or other “privileges.” Period.
You didn’t have a right to coerce your neighbor and deprive them of their agency, especially when previous infection provided excellent sterilizing immunity. Oh wait, but you did. No malevolence there.

Natural immunity is a thing, bud. I’m sorry you chose the “net positive” route, and I wish you well in your health.

Wtf are you even saying anyway? English your first language?

Private companies are perfectly able to make rules to protect the health of their employees. (And to weed out the less intelligent)
Public organizations have been granted the power to make reasonable limitations on participation in public gatherings/the economy for the sake of severe public health crises. None of the stringent vaccine 'mandates' lasted very long beyond the period when sterilizing immunity was outstanding from the vaccine (pre-Omicron). Thus their use was justified in the public good they created.
There is no right to pretend COVID wasn't dangerous and go about your business blissfully unaware.

As to your last sentence, yeah, except nobody was actually doing that. I mean, some were, but they were largely outliers. So that's a red herring.
As to the rest of your word vomit, I simply responded to your reply to Dan that people "chose the vaccine because they could see the benefit." No, tens of millions of people chose the vaccine because they were coerced to or felt coerced to. Period. Without arguing the merits of public health directives, you simply were wrong in that assertion. Wouldn't be the first time and won't be the last.
Finally, the problem with your malevolent fascism is it (deliberately) failed to recognize natural immunity to any degree, because naturally cultivated immunity undermined the narrative and didn't fit the dogma, at the time. Eventually, your health agencies were forced to recognize it. Even you recognize it. All you have left is to say, well, it's not as good as the 3-shot series administered all the way back in 2021, but I (Harambe) still want to talk about it because it keeps me relevant.

You should've warned my vaccinated friend to be more careful then, because she was told by her government that she couldn't spread it post-vaccination, so she went about her business blissfully unaware. Lots of people did. Tens of millions.

Lots of places (countries, workplaces) allowed antibody titer tests in lieu of vaccination proof.
The main probably is that natural immunity is hard to measure and inconsistent. I don't understand the point of your exaggerations. They make you look childish.
"chose the vaccine because they could see the benefit"
not being fired for being stupid seems like a great benefit!

Why are you friends with someone who needs the government to tell them that being sick means you should avoid social interactions?
People in 1970: "Hey I have terrible cough and headache, I am gonna skip Sub9's party"
The friends you keep bringing are painting a much clearer picture of who Sub9 really is.

Ok, last time 2600bro (who so elegantly and truthfully said "hindsight is 2020," unironically), Harambe specifically wrote, "Dan, I know this is terrifying, but everyone chose to get the vaccine because they knew it would help them. Deep breaths, it's gonna be ok."
So, your new argument is that what Harambe (you) really meant but didn't say was, "because they knew it would help them keep their job." Had he simply added those last three words, then you would have a great point. But, alas, he didn't so you are simply playing semantics now.

It's one step farther, no?
it's the imaginary friends they write novels about.

Lots of people do things because it helps them fit in with "society" even if they haven't run the exact cost-benefit on their own life.
