I appreciated the civility of the Debate. My opinion was this did not move the needle for anyone. Both sides will say they won and have some reasonable points, but there was no obvious winner and loser as in the Harris / Trump debate.

Trump has ducked out of his 60 minutes interview which is an election tradition that has gone on for 40 years. What is it that has Trump so upset about doing this interview that every candidate has done without issue?

Trump wanted an agreement not to be fact checked! This was the same thing that caused the fight and delay at the black journalists interview. This is the same thing that triggered JV Dance. The same thing that triggered M@ga in debate #2.

We are getting a preview of the disdain Trump would have for honest journalism in a Trump 2nd term. Trump and his surrogates want to lie about everything without getting any pushback. Yet Trump would have power to deliver retribution with immunity. So nobody would ever fact check a Trump administration again. They would fearfully repeat whatever they are told.
