So he may have taken a few liberties with his time and dates? So a lot of wives fake it too? Who amongst you has never rounded up your height and down your weight? Told the press that they came under enemy fire on a Tarmac while greeting school kids? Taken a flop on the pitch? Lusted after your buddy's girl?

Man, Robert Young is pretty fat and pasty white for supposedly running 3/4 of the way across the US at record pace. This really needs to be used as a key piece of evidence against him. From how he looks, I wager he was only running a 10 k a day and then sitting in the RV eating his 15,000 Calories.
It's no surprise that he says his pacing strategy is to go out too fast and blow up to a slow walk. That newb pacing matches up with his low level of fitness. I don't even think he knows how to run properly.
One test I would like to see is to put him on his bike on a set of rollers and see if he can even balance himself for 5 minutes pedaling. For a supposed former "pro" cyclist, this should be really easy.

Right. It has been 5 days since this thread started and no video, no reports whatsoever. I expected at least a couple of 2-3 hour driving, biking eyewitness reporters on the scene. I read somewhere that 40% of the US population lives near the coast. Likely most of us fit that bill. So these inner states have nobody there. Could be Indy before we get any true reporting.

Why spy? Why not just join the caravan and document the legitimacy of it all? Hit your garmin when RY is running and collect the data that they are unwilling to reveal.

There's no reason to spy. Join him just like he has requested. Play with open cards. Run with him. Or if you can't bike or drive at an appropriate distance behind him. Film every step of what he's doing. He will crumble in the matter of a few days.

I'm not from Terre Haute, I said I'll meet him there. I couldn't have backed out yet, he's like 150 miles away. I live south of Indy, I'm not driving to Terre Haute and waiting 3 days. When are you joining or are you just throwing barbs?

Spying is 100% more likely to reveal him cheating. Don't pretend like any of you know more than an experienced ultra runner when it comes to an ultra running event...
If Laz and co are already watching him (which apparently they are) then that's good enough, even though it means no immediate news for the people waiting on this thread. If you guys want any immediate news one of you will have to go and follow him yourself.
