There's no mental gymnastics of any kind. I know Kirk's positions because I followed him and watched his debates.
You just know the quotes with zero context.
Kirk would save the baby not the embryos. He'd been asked this question.
A friend of MLK denying a negative story with zero evidence doesn't prove anything. He was still an adulterer and a host of other things. Trump being a terrible husband doesn't make MLK a good husband.
The Civil Rights Act caused more problems then it solved. You do not understand the position even a little bit because you're just reacting to 1 sentence. At no point did Kirk ever say Jim Crow was a good thing and that the Civil Rights Act had zero good points.
DEI ignores merit and rewards immutable characteristics. It is a racist program. You can disagree but you can't call his position "abhorrent".
If gay people don't like Bronze Age laws why are they desperate to join a religion that follows them? You can disagree with Christianity but calling it abhorrent is absurd particularly as a person like yourself who believes in subjective morality.
You're allowed to disagree. You're not going to get away with calling positions you don't even understand abhorrent.
Everything you listed is wrong. People who are too lazy/low IQ to understand when they are being lied to are being radicalized by lies like this.
