This thread was deleted by a volunteer moderator. I certainly don't want a thread this big deleted so I've restored. THat being said, this thread has served it's purpose. I've closed it to new posts.
We have a new 2024 vaccine thread here. New people don't need to try to wade through 20,000 posts to figure out what is going on.
Exactly one person is downvoting us at the moment and upvoting himself. Comical. Who even uses the upvote/downvote buttons anyway? So childish, but consistent with shame and coercion.
That’s not the story. The story is Cuomo and Lemon were morons, complicit in the very public shame and coercion movement, which backfired, and are no longer employed in a major capacity. Ironic and comical.
"The drug and evidence behind it doesn't matter, just what celebrities say about it..."
Ok you can start a celebrity discussion thread! Sounds like that's your real interest (tennis stars, TV personalities, famous gorillas...)? Am I wrong?
You still mad bro? You still shaming and coercing? Be careful, you might lose your job😡😂

Literally espoused unironically. Stephen Colbert anyone?
The thread has long since gone off the rails, but the study link is below.
What they found seems to be that a long term downward trend in cancer deaths stopped (paused?) during the pandemic. See, for instance, Figure 1 in the link. My first guess at causality is there was a reluctance for people to go for checkups/treatment during the pandemic which has a lagging effect on death rates. This was widely talked about as a potential issue during the pandemic.
That the authors of the paper strongly suggest a link to the covid vaccine without supporting analysis or any consideration of alternative hypotheses reeks of an agenda and it seems to have been picked up by the usual uncritical suspects.

It would be nice if the antivaxxers would stop with their childish spamming so we can focus on the science and data.
Yet, you’ve shown time and again that you’d rather focus on “fictitious” people like my buddy who was very harmed by the mRNA vax since you continually bring them up.
You never answered with your expert “science” and protocol by the way. Is he destined for a heart transplant? You have a better idea?

This thread went off the rails over two years ago, ever since Omicron ended Covid. What else is there ti talk about anymore? Unless you want to cobble together a study looking at six iterations of vaccines VERSUS natural immunity. As a dedicated member of the control group, I volunteer.

We have plenty of evidence supporting 3 and 4 doses of vaccine being superior to infection, especially in the context of Omicron. So unless you have evidence to support why 6 doses would deviate from this trend (i.e. doses 5 and 6 would make the response worse) then I don't see how this isn't just a demand for random data / trials that you expect to magically trend the opposite of all prior evidence / data.
Maybe you expect 6 dose people to be a sickly population (mostly elderly and IC) and so there will be cohort effects vs. the unvaxxed? Would be a nice game for you play I guess.
"I demand specific data that I know will run counter to all prior evidence / trends... or I reject all evidence" is a boring / unserious place to argue from.

Shame and coercion = being told they are wrong.
When you realize this is what antivaxxers thing, you see you need to coddle them.

Yep. Harambro just can’t move on. When omicron ended Covid ( something the vaccines failed to do), he lost his identity. Ever since it’s been a downhill spiral.
Then last night he went apesh1t (pun intended). All because…

Meanwhile, Djokovic will go down as the most famous, best player to ever play the game of tennis, with the all time grand slams-winning record, despite being denied the ability to play in multiple tournaments, but retaining the courage of his convictions. To think he was allowed into the US to play the US Open in 2021 during the height of Delta but denied in 2022 when the mother lineage of Omicron had largely faded. Smh.

Why is this guy still talking about tennis?
Well, because you brought him up out of the blue like a week ago. Also, because you absolutely can’t refuse responding to a Djokovic post. It’s humorous.
