Many Chinese holders of US Treasury securities are borrowers with outstanding loans who have used those US securities as collateral. A massive "bond dump" would destabilize THEM more than anybody else. Sale of the collateral would result in their loans being called for immediate payment in full.

Trump could have done a lot of things, NONE of which were ever carried out by any previous administration Republican, RINO or Democrat, or EU or anywhere else in the World.

It’s absurd to think that Constitutional protections don’t apply to everyone within our borders. Yes, illegal immigrants are subject to potential deportation following due process however it would still be illegal for a US citizen to enslave them. However, it seems that the modern MAGA GOP and this administration would argue the others side.
