Just came across an scarey bad knock off of this classic, and even the little i could bear burned a real scar into my musical sensibilities. Yep, that bad.

I'm going to have to listen to this original gem a few times in a row to erase that unfortunate encounter.

wow, you're really onto something there - i've never noticed how similar those two songs are stylistically. Amazing.

But since you brought it up, I see now that Kid Rock's annoying song (Summer something) also samples the Lynard Skynard song, not just Werewolves of London.

I will take your word for it since I quickly had to shut that piece of crap off once I saw it wasn't getting any better, and that didn't take long at all, honestly.

Interesting stuff. Too bad he couldn't do something a little more palatable with them.
