If Trump were truly innocent, the BEST way to stick it to the Democrats would be to release his taxes, insist that he be interviewed by Mueller like yesterday and be constantly open and honest. If he were innocent and did that and it was found out that he WAS innocent, the Democrats would look like the worst group of people ever, and it might take decades to get rid of that stigma.

BUT NO! Trump fights this every step of the way by firing people, threatening to fire others, lying, asking for loyalty, obstructing, etc. It is ridiculous! The Orange One is SOOOOO guilty of something.

Due to Nunes' total incompetence, he's lets on that the whole reason the FBI had Intel on Trump was due to George Papadopoulos' Russian activity. At some point, the FBI is already onto Page. And then Trump hires both Papadopoulos and Page. Papadopoulos with no meaningful experience, at all. RED FLAG?

If the point of the memo was to make a case for Trump's claims, it just backfired in the most comical way possible on the easiest day in the week to bury news.

The release of the nunes memo damages the house republicans and trump much more than the fbi. It's both a partisan hack job and a desperate ploy to stop the wheels of justice. Obviously information that the the fb i used to get approval for the wire tap was left out. But even if it wasn't, the memo brings up many topics like the dossier and Russian contacts that don't reflect well on trump.
