Considering the Cal Poly staff had to work for 2 years with only 3 full-time coaches while head coach was on leave dying of cancer and they won a conference title, it would be pretty bush league for the AD to make outside hire that will probably let them all go.
This confirms that Priscilla Bayley is out, and Chris Baptista - sprints/hurdles/jumps coach & interim head coach is not longer on the website. Just the pole vault and the throws coaches remain.

Still feel this way?
Yes. The coaches were good people that wouldn’t have been fired if Mark hadn’t died. Van Hoy is a good coach, but the AD did not do the right thing, in my opinion. As for hiring your own wife, I think that is extremely inappropriate. And, in this case, Priscilla is actually a better coach.
James Madison Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Ta' Frias has resigned from her position, as announced by Director of Athletics Jeff Bourne Friday afternoon.

There are several good jobs open. Perhaps Priscilla ends up at GCU, ASU, UCLA??? the later would be a big time opportunity.
