VIX is up 29% in just a couple weeks...this is why the market has such trouble going down. People are freaky freaky and throw hedges on when the market falls just 2% from its highs. Then they have to buy back in when the market rebounds. This is why hedge funds are getting shmeared across the road. Constant and losing pessimism and fear.

For those keeping score, bonds returns have flattened out. no real difference between short, inter and long term bonds.
