In one of the largest studies done on the covid vaccines, scientists looked at the the OE (observed versus expected) ratios of 13 adverse events over the period of 42 days after the vaccination in a population of 99 million subjects.
One major shortcoming of this study is that some adverse events might take longer than 42 days to surface so the actual risk could be greater than what this study found.
Another shortcoming is that the data on OEs of doses after the first vaccination can no longer be considered random because many subjects who experienced AEs not on this list of 13 AEs stopped taking additional shots because of their early AEs. My sister is a case in point. She had a reaction to the 1st dose of Pfizer vaxx and a reaction so severe after the 2nd dose that she swore she'd never get a booster.
In some cases, the risk of a particular AE from a particular vaccine increased over 200% in the 6 week period. The good news is that since many of these conditions are rare, even a 200% increase is not a lot of people numbers-wise.
