Facts First: Trump's claims are false in two big ways. First, the statistics he was referring to are not specifically about people who entered the country during the Biden-Harris administration. Rather, those statistics are about noncitizens who entered the country under any administration, including Trump's; were convicted of a crime at some point, usually in the US after their arrival; and are now living in the US while being listed on Immigration and Customs Enforcement's "non-detained docket" where some have been listed for years, including while Trump was president, because their country of citizenship won't let the US deport them back there. Second, that ICE “non- detained” list includes people who are still serving jail and prison sentences for their crimes; they are on the list because they are not being held in immigration detention in particular.

Gary’s sources might have found at least one person out of 110K fans who didn’t like a given politician. Hence, I’m convinced that Trump is way ahead. Because I’m smart.

Gary’s lameness knows no bounds.

Robinson gives us a solid summary of the stupidity of the Republican Party. And yet the election is virtually tied.

The choice between Vice President Kamala Harris and former president Donald Trump should not be a tough call. Harris is a former prosecutor; Trump, a felon. Harris gives campaign speeches about her civic values; Trump rants endlessly about his personal grievances, interrupting himself with asides about sharks and Hannibal Lecter. Harris has outlined a detailed set of policy proposals for the economy; Trump nonsensically offers tariffs as a panacea, describing this fantasy in terms that make it clear he doesn’t understand how tariffs work.

Also, Harris never whipped thousands of supporters into a frenzy and sent them off to the Capitol, where they smashed their way into the citadel of our democracy, injuring scores of police officers and threatening to hang the vice president, in an attempt to overturn the result of a free and fair election. Trump did.

Flake is a complete RINO. And Trump pursued every legal thing he could do. Completely fine. Democrats did the same thing in 2000 and 2004.

Trump tried to stop the peaceful transfer of power and deny the voting rights of millions of voters.
He devised an elaborate scheme to replace legitimate electors with fake electors.
He tried to get DOJ to publicly announce they were investigating massive election fraud when they found none.
When DOJ said no, he wanted to fire Bill Barr and install a liar that would say they would
He drafted plans to seize voting machines.
He pushed for Mike Pence to reject his Constitutional duty to certify electors and incited a mob that called for his execution.
He called elected officials across the country and urged them to "find votes."
And after all of this, he incited a mob of his supporters to stop the ceremonial proceedings of Congress to name the duly elected winner of the vote.
All to stay in power illegally

But a tiny bit embarrassing that Flake is still pretending that that truly describes the current GOP.

And, of course, raises the obvious question about whether it was really ever that.

At a minimum, at some point between Nixon’s demise and 2021, it became NOT that.

But that’s just the politicians. Who were and are, as sad as it is to say, arguably a cut above the base. And the base? Turns out they were probably susceptible to a Trump for all of this nation’s history. We just dodged the bullet for a really long time.
