It's funny, when I first started listening to the Roches a year ago, I sympathized with them. I was confused by the LetsRun threads bashing them.
But they’ll lie about weird things (how fast David can run a mile (sub 4 at altitude???), how far David flew in his bike accident (100ft??), only reference success stories about their training plans, and delete your logs once you leave their training SWAP program (Google it).
They present as highly credible by speaking confidently and regularly reviewing studies but then go on to recommend supplements (with a referral link) that don’t have nearly as much scientific backing as they claim (examples: AG1, multivitamins, CurraNZ).
Now I'm liable to believe this thread's comments on Zwift weight doping, disordered eating, etc. They lost any credibility with me. Either be positive, or be snakes. Be scientific, or be supplement influencers. Don't be all these things at once.
