In the CBS poll where 75% approved of the speech, only 52% of respondents identified as Trump supporters.
HA HA HA....my GOD you are dim! Just what we'd expect from a Trump supporter.
"ONLY 52% " in the poll were Republicans. What % of Americans ID as Repubs, you dimwit??? Something like 24%. So a WAAAAY higher % of watchers were Republican than exist in the electorate.
According to CBS
"But largely positive responses are nothing new for State of the Union addresses, which historically are more likely to be watched by members of the president's own party. ...
These high approval ratings – both then and now – have much to do with who actually watches State of the Union speeches. Forty-two percent of speech watchers last night identified themselves as Republican – a much larger percentage than the 24 percent seen in the most recent CBS News poll. In contrast, the percentage of Democrats and independents was smaller – down seven points among Democrats and 11 points among independents."
You just got DESTROYED. Flagpole was right, and you are your dimwit buddies (and other personalities posting under different names) were WRONG.

This is so disingenuous. You literally said on the previous page that democratic welfare policies are the new racism:

Has nothing to do with what the AA population went through in the past.
They are, in particular, in relation to the AA community. But the democrats are equal opportunity racists. They want as many enslaved on the public dole as possible, no matter what the ethnic makeup. More potential Democratic voters to keep them in power.

Corallo talking to Mueller is bad for Trump. It's all bad for Trump. This Nunes memo will not be much and is already discredited before it is out to the public.
Evidently, Nunes spoke with the White House and "edited" the memo in preparation for its release. Once again, Nunes is doing what he is told to do by Trump. And what that is is write the memo to give Trump "reason" to fire Mueller, and then attempt to kill the entire investigation. Trump might even go as far as replacing all management in the FBI (CIA also) with Trump's own people—people like Nunes.
I know Trumpkins are hanging on to their support at all costs to save face, but all logic is gone as they can't seem to acknowledge how dishonest and ill-intentioned Trump and those around him have been. In all the Trumpkin posts I have yet to see one trying to argue in support of Trump's and his clan's behavior. And by arguing I don't mean pointing the finger at Hillary, Obama, and Bill in hopes of justifying any of it.
Take Nunes, he has breached his ethical duties to the American people completely by doing what's best for Trump. His decisions have been guided by that and not by objectivity. He personally went to the WH to warn Trump about the investigation and now this. Does anyone here actually support his actions?

Nope. That speech delivered in a different way and more importantly by a different person (Republican or Democrat) might have been good, but it wasn't great at all, especially not being delivered by Trump...he's just not the one to ask for unity. He has burned that bridge.

Flagpole said that supporters of a president or more likely to watch a SOTU speech than non-supporters. AND YOUR OWN LINKS DEMONSTRATE THAT!!! On your first link, a MUCH higher % of people self ID as strong or moderately R, than currently ID that way in party affiliation polls. In the CNN poll, it is a bit closer to reality, but still it is higher than the general population. Therefore (you still with me, is this too long for you attention span??), Flagpole was correct.
FURTHERMORE, your own links and polls show that compared to recent history, Trump's speech received a LOWER APPROVAL RATING THAN PAST PRESIDENTS.
You are so dimwitted, you didn't even read your own links, or understand what the debate was about. Only 24% of the people in the general population self ID as R's. Only 30-something % ID as Trump supporters. If you get higher #'s than that as far as who was polled, then, yes, YOU ARE GETTING A HIGHER % OF R/TRUMP SUPPORTERS WATCHING THAN EXIST AS A % OF THE GENERAL POPULATION.
Was that really that complicated for you?

Yep. I was correct. I wasn't gleeful about the fact that according to CNN that his approval rating for his speech was lower than at least any in the last 20 years (someone online that night said since ratings had been taken). ^This. The disconnect by Trumpers is impressive.
There was a point where Republicans were the party of law and order, but those fundamental beliefs were thrown out with the dish water when Trump was elected.
Fortunately, Mueller is a patriot and is motivated by the rule of law. He will bring down the Trump criminal enterprise.
To those thinking that Trump getting rid of Mueller, Wray (a Trump appointee), etc. will end the Russia probe are mistaken. Justice will prevail.
