Heard he's got something in the works. Ryan's a great young coach and will do well wherever he ends up. You'll be hard pressed to find another person who cares as much about his athletes' development and progress than him.

I coach at a DivIII college and all of our records are faster than UNFs with the exception of the 5k and we're only 4 seconds off!

Seruois huh! That's serious self promotion. "you'll be hard pressed to find another person who cares....blah blah" such crap, there are plenty of coaches in the country that are underpaid and care greatly about their athletes.

If Lonnie wants to hire 2 friends of his - it's his gig man. If he feels more comfy with them being black - Can't blame the guy. When you bust your ass for 20 years in the profession and finally get your own program, you are going to hire friends that you know and can trust that will get the job done. Has nothing to do with being racist. Lonnie is a cool dude - has always treated me with great respect -(I'm white and a coaching buddy). Don't make this a black/white issue - it's a buddy issue.
