This literally sounds like a whiny brat on the current team or the parent of a whiny brat on the team. Trashing a coach who is stepping away when their wife is sick makes you horrible.

I just got hired by one of the places listed in this thread; am I going to get trashed or have fake accusations made about me? I'd prefer to not have my career derailed by a troll job...
I’ve been roasted on this board more than once. Many people on this thread are good coaches interested in staying in the loop, but there’s also a handful of bitter know-it-alls who bash everyone and everything. Don’t pay them any mind. There’s not an AD on earth who cares what some anonymous troll posts on Letsrun.

Nope, UW got rid of Throws. Seems to be the popular thing to do this cycle. So off the top of my head, UW, Wazzu, Baylor, Colorado, maybe a few others completely scrapped the Throws? Plus Penn St, Tennessee, UNC, Wake, probably some others, had successful Throws programs, but decided to down size. Throws coaches better be looking to become HCs, otherwise they’re just sitting ducks.

Maybe unrelated or maybe not, but seeing results of ganes creek, how can Baylor be so terrible!?! They never were “good” but never this bad. Even with only recruiting walk ons they could be a lot better. So you can’t put this on the director, he may not give the distance coach much scholarships but they still shouldn’t be losing to bad mid major teams! Yikes

Doesn’t Florida state need a distance coach? How come they didn’t follow the trend and keep their athlete on as a coach. I don’t think ppl realize how ignorant this is. Stopwatch holder sure but to give someone with no experience a chance is wild to me
