I am a moderate Democrat and though there are a number of ideas of the more progressive wing of my party that I don't agree with, the Trump party, which has destroyed the Republican party, is totally disgusting.
I could easily make a long list such their embrace of the Trump election lie, support of Putin's attack on Ukraine, tax changes for the wealthy that has created the greatest wealth disparity in US history, their embrace of criminality, their fear of Trump etc.......
After Harris is thankfully elected we can discuss some of the more progressive ideas that I am not comfortable. They are small potatoes compared to Republican damage to our democracy.
