Sisay further revealed it was marathon runner Feyisa Lelisa (silver medalist in Rio) who called him from America and asked him to resolve it. Sisay said that Gebrselassie was not involved in the resolution.

The reason why the Guardian removed "married" is because they are a far-left progressive organisation and would be terrified that they are promoting the idea that assaulting married women is worse than assaulting unmarried women.
As for the "married athlete" quote, it's very weird. Why not just say this is a female athlete? We technically don't even know if the athlete was male or female now.
I doubt you understand Western liberalism at all from this reaction anyway.

Lelisa is good friends with American Abdi (you know, the guy whose roomie was popped for epo), who is in turn often part of mo's training group. They're all a bunch of liars and cheaters.

Huh?!? Are you kidding? Or just a LetsRun hater? The 2 newer eyewitness versions of the incident completely corroborate that this was indeed a brawl. Many people involved, kicking, shoving, punching... Mo kicked Tsegaye in the friggin neck for crying out loud. This was not minor. Police involved, security involved...
