Can anyone spot when the juice started flowing?

It's easy for the LetsRun amateur sleuth (trained on the performance jump must equal drugs usage formula) to look at these dates / times and start frothing at the mouth "well this is clear, undeniable evidence of doping..." But seriously boys and girls we're not looking at a pro performance jump here.

As my favourite singer once sang "when the going gets tough, the tough get going":- Who isn't to say that some point 2012/13 Ashley didn't just say to herself - you know what, if I take the training seriously and really dedicate myself I could push myself up to the upper hobbyjogger levels!

Can't help but laugh to myself as I recall that guy on here a few weeks ago who'd gone from a 3:19 marathon to winning one in 2:2x over the course of a few years. Don't remember anyone questioning when "the juice started flowing" on that thread...

That was a cut and paste from the Slowtwitch Triathlon forums which go into great detail about the likelihood of that being a legit improvement. Detail provided by athletes who are familiar with her and the link to the thread is on the previous page if you want to delve deeper than what you perceive to be LetsRun amateur sleuthing level.

Err, I think where the continuous downhill ended some hills started (before continuing downhill), this is where she decided to cut the course.

So, to answer your questions, she does, and the unnatural assistance she needs is from course cutting and possibly PEDs, which she has used as unnatural assistance in the past.

Do you think the course cuttin was premeditated? Like she studied the course in order to find the best place to cut and reappear?

That's the thing, what has kept the thread going is the trolls/troll who deny she cheated and also perpetuate the myth that she let the officials know straight away. She didn't let anyone know and instead tried to claim she's passed a whole bunch of people. However, they went to the race director and mutinied over it. Only when it was obvious that she was busted, did she try to back away from her original claims. Those claims, of a PB etc are in her original Instagram post - her words, no one elses and no mention whatsoever in her original post about cutting the course.

Also, the people calling her out have identified themselves and left themselves open for libel and slander suits by openly labelling her not just as course cutter but also as a liar and a cheat. However the persons/person defending her makes sure they deeply undercover behind an anonymous, untraceable alias.

Lets face it, most of us at one time or another have known narcissistic 'look at me' show ponies like this woman. We tend to laugh at them and their sycophantic followers and get on with our own running and lives. The only time we don't is when they openly cheat, not only openly cheat, but put others out of placings, prize money, qualifying places for other races, etc. That's the case here.

She's now a very carefully watched woman, but not in the way she wants.

As my favourite singer once sang "red light spells danger" and as far as Ashley Paulson is concerned that red light is very clearly flashing - a caught doper and a cheat!

However when I made my previous post I specifically cut my copy paste down to the absurd times / spot when the juice started flowing comment because that, in itself, is not enough (although it is for the amateur LetsRun sleuths) to prove drug use. Nor for that matter does being busted in Sept 2016 PROVE drugs use in 2012/13. I hope that's clear to anyone.

The thing with being caught doping is that it undermines someone's credibility for all time, before and after they were caught. It is possible that they doped once and had incredible bad luck, but nobody really believes this because it is the thought processes that someone goes through to do it that is the real issue.

Why do you keep perpetuating this Straw-man argument that "LetsRun sleuths" posted her times and made comments about "when the juice started" etc. It has been pointed out to you (twice now), that it was a copy and paste from the Slowtwitch forums (including the when did the juice start, comment), where there is a detailed six page thread on Ashley's doping.

There is also a link (page 9) if you are interested and it's a specialist triathlon forum with people familiar with Ashley and her performances, weighing in with their opinions on her cheating. It's got nothing to do with "Letsrun sleuths", so why do you keep repeating the same erroneous statement.
