Killian Jornet's Everest summit might not have happened

I wonder why Rossi didn't think of this for his missing VIA photos, who except the most sceptical could think this is anything other than Jillian on the summit, the darkness and clenched teeth prove it for me, where else would you get darkness like that?

The picture was obviously taken on the dark side of the moon.

Now that I’ve seen the top secret summit photo it has totally destroyed my desire to see the movie. Totally ruined it for me, thanks Kilian. I hate people who can’t keep secrets.

Is the photo possibly a crop and the stuff that is at the summit is visible in the full photo ? Having said that how hard would it be to mock up something that would pass for that in a dark room ?

Wasn't this the final piece of "Summits of my Life"? It has been a huge thing for him and his sponsors for numerous years now so it wouldn't exactly be surprising if they were holding info back in order to make a big event (movie) out of this. Maybe it's even tied to some new product launch for Suunto and they purposely planned the data out like this?

I met Corliss at a 100M race a few years ago. Definitely a fanboy. The dude drools all over the ultra scene. You were expecting hard-hitting journalism?

No, but I wasn't expecting it to be that extreme. It was beyond pathetic. The guy has zero credibility. If anything, that interview, and how incredibly biased it was, made me even more suspicious. If he was shown a picture of Killian at base camp, wearing and oxygen mask, roped in and strapped to the back of a Sherpa and Killian told Corliss that it was a summit photo Corliss would gush over it and endlessly congratulate Killian on making it to the top on his own without oxygen or fixed ropes.

i like a lot of what Ian Corless does and he's good for the ultra community but that was just embarrassing.

My post wasn't about whether Killian summited or not. It was about some ignorant ahole posting what he did above.
