Plenty of time left, but this could be another Romo choke special.

28-24 Cowboys.
Holding in by the skin of their teeth. Their vaunted O-line not up to par so far.
Uh oh Eagle fans. 35-24. Cowboys are about to blow this one wide open.
They already blew it wide open once before in this game, but couldn't hold on.
That's OK. The Eagles have Sanchez, who is capable of making lots of big mistakes.
True dat.
Good call on Sanchez. He looked pretty bad there when the game was on the line.
But Romo went from hot to cold, then back to hot. He and Dez were the difference tonight. Their running game had problems.
Big game against Indy next week.
The Eagles just couldn't survive the loss of Nick Foles for 6 games.
Now the Eagles need help to make the playoffs.
Maybe the Redskins will sweep the Cowboys with a win in the last game of the season.
The Cowboys are undefeated in December this year.
While the Eagles are winless.
Nick foles was close to being benched prior to being hurt. He would have made no difference in either of their last two double digit losses anyways

Suck it and enjoy your haterade....

I'm not suggesting that Foles is as good as Romo (a top 10 NFL QB), but he's better than Sanchez. Foles would have made a difference, though maybe not enough to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

You'll have to wait...but keep saying it, at some point I guess if the Cowboys don't win the super bowl you can say you knew he was going to choke all along. You know the greatest QB of all time has won one super bowl and he has chocked way more than Romo ever has or will....but one super bowl makes the man in the 2nd place is the first loser world we live in.

You're right I'll take almost anyone over Sanchez
Sup guys. Me again.
I can't tell you how much that game hurt. Once Huff muffed the opening kickoff, there was no going back.
We learned pretty much nothing from last night's game, unfortunately. It just confirmed what we already knew. The Eagles are AT LEAST three players short of being a complete team. We need a quarterback and corners. There's no getting around it. Bradley Fletcher, week after week, has put his incompetence on full display. He sucked, Cary Williams still sucks, and they aren't improving.
As for the quarterback situation, we all knew it wasn't good coming into the season.
We knew that Half the playbook is gone with Foles playing. We learned that he doesn't step up into the pocket. He also throws off his back foot time and time again as a result of backing out of the pocket. He brings zero mobility (No speed and elusiveness like a Russel Wilson/No functional mobility like a Ben Roethlisberger).
We learned that Mark Sanchez, despite a good system, can continue to be Mark Sanchez. He looked good early but in the Seattle game and this Cowboys game he showed his inability to hit wide open receivers (although it's important to note that Foles was missing them, too).
Look at them side by side:
Completion %: Sanchez- 61.9, Foles- 59.8%
Avg yards/completion: Sanchez- 7.86, Foles- 6.96
TD: Sanchez-10, Foles-13
Int: Sanchez- 9, Foles 10 - 5 of Sanchez's were on tipped balls that should have been caught
Fumbles: Sanchez- 2, Foles-3
Passer rating: Sanchez- 84.5, Foles- 81.4
Even though the Eagles have attempted an average of five less passes per game with Sanchez playing than with Foles, their play has been nearly identical with Sanchez playing better in many cases (stepping up into and trusting the pocket, extending plays with his legs) but his inability to see open recievers in the read option (or hit them once he DOES see them) negates that advantage he has over Foles.
All in all, they both suck. Neither of them can run the read-option the way it is meant to be run. And I wouldn't be sad in the short term if we traded a starting player and our first round pick this year to move up and grab Mariota (however impossible that would be).
Given the same O line that Sanchez has played with (he was playing without Kelce and Mathis and Johnson most of this year), Foles is much better than Sanchez.
And he is better than Romo.
Foles has been ruled out for the Redskins game.
Maybe he'll play against the Giants in the last game of the season.
Need the Colts to beat Dallas next week. But the Colts just clinched their division and are unlikely to earn a bye, so they don't have much motivation.
Watch out for the Eagles if they squeak into the playoffs and Nick Foles is starting with a healthy line in front of him.
DeMarco Murray out after hand surgery. The vaunted Dallas running game which was neutered by Philly has now taken a devastating hit. But, Indy has a shaky, at best, run defense. Maybe the backups will be good enough against an unmotivated(?) Colts team. The focus moves more toward Romo this week. Gut check time.

HAHAHAHAHA Did you actually just say Foles is better than Romo? Even Eagles fans will tell you Foles isn't even in the same world as Romo. It is fine to support the players on your team, but my god that is a dumb statement.
Completion %
Foles- 59
Romo- 69
Rating
Foles- 81.4
Romo-110.4
TD/INT
Foles-13/10 (10 picks in only 8 games plus fumbling issues)
Romo-28/8
Not to mention Foles misses open recievers and can't move whereas Romo is one of the better QB's and using his legs to extend plays.

Murray had 2 TDs & 81 yards of rushing. I wouldn't say that's "neutered." LeSean on the other hand...
Dallas right tackle Doug Free left the game early. They couldn't run the ball to the right at all after that.
