Cedarville is ranked fairly based on their body of work so far this season. Is this where they will finish at regionals? Not likely. They lost to Indy 2 weeks ago. Hillsdale is ranked fairly. Look at team scores from Mich State. Parkside opened up strong at home last week. They return redshirt all American Lewandowski and their 2-5 finished together at 25:47-8. Other than GV, USI and AU, who has put together a more impressive performance yet this season.

Are you asking of their has been a better team than gv, usi, or Ashland yet this year? No, and there won't be a team better than those two. Is Ashland even guaranteed to finish that high? I don't trust them, they kind of scare me, they look great right now, although it is late September only.

Great showing by Ferris. Yes two different races, that can not be ignored. Is this Grand Valleys " A " squad they ran? Doesn't seem like it, then again it is a huge race they ran in.

The results in terms of time can absolutely be ignored. The Griak is known for being a challenging course. I think the head to head matchups, like MSU are far more telling. I must admit I was expecting better from GV. They had several guys that I look at as their top 7 that either didn't finish or didn't race. However, they looked strong at their first race history suggests they will be just fine. And for having a bunch of guys seemingly unknown by these boards they stayed fairly close to Peterson. I'd favor them at GLIACs with there top 7from today, but I think you'll see some combination of Bradley, Luterbach, Selner and May in their top 7 by then.

Parkside... No

Might not have run amazing times, but they did beat Augustana who's number 7 in all of D2. Now Augustana might've treated this more as a workout (although it looks like they raced it) than Parkside but you can't completely disregard that.

I haven't had time to check on many results. How did the other GLIAC teams do this weekend?

At All-Ohio Malone finishes ahead of Ashland. Ashland's top 3 ran well but Knack and Sussman still back a little ways but slowly catching up. Should be a great race next month!

Wow! Very impressive showing for Grand Valley! Do you have a link to the results? Bradley is redshirting. Nice job goes out to Malone as well. Ashland is no joke. I still think they will get 2nd, and the 3rd bid at regionals, but Malone sure does make it interesting.
