Could 10 NFL players kill a large tiger in a zoo enclosure with no weapons?

Does a laser pointer count as a weapon? If you could use one of those to distract the tiger you could tire it out before the real fighting begins. It works on my cat.

10 NFL football players? My tiger killing dream team made up of runners from my division 3 cross country team would kill that tiger real good. After an hour long conversation about this with some teammates at lunch, we devised the ultimate plan to take out the big cat.

Method 1) Kill Rayanne, and feed her to the tiger. After the tiger has viciously torn her apart, we will move her bones from her body (specifically her ribs) and use them to fight the tiger. The nine runners left would grab some ribs and stab the shit out of the tiger till its dead.

Method 2) Kill Celiac's girl, use her bones to kill Rayanne, and then use Rayanne's bone to kill the tiger.

Method 3) Kill the tiger, and use its bones to kill Rayanne.

The Tiger would win easily. Think about it, several of the men know they will die. They get into the enclosure and wait for someone else to rush the cat. The first 2 or 3 men easily die and scare the hell out of the rest so that they are nearly afraid to move.

The tiger is in life and death struggles quite often in his life where as man rarely is.

If you can blind the tiger it's pretty much dead. Start with sand in the eyes and then gouge them or have one player sacrifice himself to gouge the eyes out. After that, sneak up on it repeatedly and kick it to death.

If you are wearing shoes, use them as mittens and get the tiger to choke on it. At the same instant, wrap your tshirt around its neck and finish the job. Fighting with improvised weapons is nothing new. Jason Bourne killed a guy with a newspaper. Steven Segal killed a bunch of dudes with a credit card. This is doable.

I see there was people in this old thread waxing poetic about how animals like chimps are so much stronger than humans.

They miss the point of what human strength is, for a human cannot be considered separate from the invention it evolved to use, the mighty spear. An ape cannot grip a spear well enough to plunge it into a large animal's heart and instantly kill it. An ape cannot throw a spear or even a large rock very far or accurately. An ape cannot stand tall and stab downward for a gravity assist the way a human can.

Putting ten NFL players in the tiger cage without spears is a cruel execution of all ten, unless they are familiar with Tarzan's methods. One of them gets the tiger in the Tarzan full-body lock and the other 9 kick it to death if they can. Other than that, if they were crafty they might befriend the tiger and then await the chance to ambush it.

1 guy has it in a rear naked choke hold. 1 guy is shoving its head into the ground and keeping its mouth shut. 4 guys holding it's front paws to the ground. 3 guys holding it's back paws to the ground.

1 guy at a time is actually killing it. That part would be brutal and ugly but it would get done.

They can outwait the tiger. Keep it moving/awake while resting themselves in shifts.

10 guys is just overwhelming. You have 2500lbs at least. 20 punching and grabbing hands. 20 kicking and stomping feet. 20 knees driving into its ribs. 10 biting mouths. They're all as fast and strong as people can get.

Sure the brute force of 10 strong dudes is stronger than one tiger, but do you know how difficult it would be to manage to use those 10 guys to properly get a hold of it and subdue it? only 3 guys for its back paws/legs? You’re insane.

No idea why this thread was resurrected but what was true then is true today. Most people underestimate the speed of a tiger and its ability to writhe and twist with incredible core strength, combined with its thick skin, dense bones and thick skull. Within seconds the ten guys would be nine, eight, seven... as human blood flies everywhere amid screams of pain and anguish. It would be a feeding frenzy.

10 guys could easily take the tiger. Yes, a tiger has the power to kill with a swipe, but that never happens. Many people have been attacked by tigers and lived. There are videos out there of tigers killing dogs. It is never one swipe. In the dog videos the tiger is often cautious at first because the dogs show aggression and tiger are used to attacking animals that run away. If the NFL players were loud and aggressive they would likely scare the tiger and give them time to circle and group tackle. I would imagine human injuries, but no deaths.

10 guys could not "easily" kill a tiger. If a tiger fears for its life, there will be no amount of caution being used on its part. It's just going to go nuts. The tiger may get killed, but it's going to take more than a couple of those guys out with it.
