its been a really sh1tty day.. My girls sprint med missed state title by .2sec. Anchoe leg had flu passed out and we then scratched 4x2, and 4x4 due to no replacements. then get home and baby falls of bed and we have to take her to hospital( not my fault- and wife is on way home no so Im a little on edge). Sorry for being cheeky

Let face it, none of the true milers want to tip their speed before the US Championships. Probably feeling each other out to see what type of condition everyone is in. It's a fast workout for most of those guys.

This is the dumbest reply in the entire thread. These guys have raced each other multiple times and know each others strengths/weaknesses. This race was an attempt to get the A standard & they blew it.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I'm pretty sure he has won almost every race he has entered this year. I guess now that Symmonds ran faster he didn't technically win this, but he still beat all 3 olympians we sent this year in the 1500. Now I don't know what happened during the race with the pacing, but winning a heat of that caliber is something to be proud of.

this wasn't supposed to be a championship style race. it was supposed to be fast. it wasn't fast.

Some of us really know how they are training. Wait till June. Some of these milers did't need the "A standard" tonight. Check the long term history of how some of these guys peaked......

You are an idiot. This race was set up to be a fast race and/or grab the standard.

You don't assemble this kind of field to run 3:36. This was a blown opportunity.
