The phoniness of the adult world. I wish I could go back to being a clueless elementary school kid. Those were the days.
I agree with this 100%. I watch my 6 year old daughter and wish there were some way I could help her hold tight to the happy little self that she is. This world is so hard.
The fact that I can't get on letsrun.com when there is a major race happening because it crashes.
The fact that the search function still doesn't recognize words of three characters or less - how do we search for "800 training"?
The fact that I have to classify every thread I start, but there is no way to search by those categories. I'm not sure what exactly those categories do.
The fact that there are POD and TOD buttons in the lower right hand corner of every post, but they don't do anything. Shouldn't there be an archive of the posts and threads that get the most votes?

The irony about your lightweight relativistic attitude is that relativism replaces the concept of absolute rights and wrongs with the concept that relativism is a better absolute. You're doing the same thing, but, you want people to leave you alone about it. Sadly, this kind of lapse in common sense is all too common.
Why should "the concept of absolute rights and wrongs" apply to such matters? There are no moral implications to rooting for a given football team or liking a given band.
The latin phrase 'et cetera' is abbreviated etc. This abbreviation is properly pronounced Et Set-er-a, not Eck Set-er-a!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who said anything about morality? You're reading into it. What is the line below which it's just your opinion and above which it's necessary?
You are talking about morality. "The concept of rights and wrongs" is the definition of morality.
Ladies
We already had one cat fight that almost derailed this thread.
You two girls want to take it someplace else?

When I am the only customer at the counter, and the clerk behind the counter pretends not to notice me standing there. He/she pretends to be deeply engaged in some trivial task (rearranging bagels, counting coffee cups), apparently hoping that I will disappear and/or some other counter person will magically appear and take my order. Sometimes, I end up waiting longer than if there were a line of customers in front of me.

Which is why all the supermodels havea BMI of like 17...
I hate it when you try to open a new bottle of salad dressing, and the plastic covering over the bottle top stabs you under your finger nail.
I also hate opening new Barbie packages. Do they have to sew that plastic comb thing to the Barbie's hair? You'd think Barbie was Hannibal Lector with all the security straps around her ankles, wrists, neck, staples in her clothes, etc. Argh!!!

That must be almost enough to make you think about not playing with Barbies anymore.

I call men "guys" and women "girls". It has some alliteration to it, making it flow. "Guys and girls" sounds much better than "men and women" to me. In no way am I trying to talk down to the women I call girls in this case.

Have you ever tried to open a Barbie package before? Try it and call me back.

Are you equating yourself with a supermodel?
BTW, most models are paid to show off clothes, not their bodies. Most sexpots have boobs and butts. No one wants to see Kate Moss naked.
1. Car dealerships closed after 5 p.m. on week days and closed on week ends. I would think they would want to be open when the majority of people aren't busy at work.
2. People who use blue tooth ear pieces.
3. Not really inconsequential, but when smokers throw their cigarette butts out the window of their car, or on the ground as they're walking, etc.
4. People taking too long to park because they have to back in to the space rather than pulling in normally. Do these people need a quick get away or something?
5. Businesses closed on random days of the week.
6. Family gatherings
7. Having to sit through meetings at work and people asking stupid questions that make the meeting last much longer than it needs to. (Especially when said meeting could have been accomplished through an e-mail in the first place).
8. People complaining about things they can control. Ex: fat people complaining about their weight, yet eating doughnuts at work, candy bars on breaks, and so on. Or, "I don't have money to do that." - when they have digitial cable, 3 flat screen TVs, lease cars, have the I-phone, I-pad, I-everything, etc.
