Who is the guy in the book that goes to recruit the Torres bros? Wasn't that Drake? Or some assistant? I don't remember Wetmore doing it.
One thing that stands out to me in the book was when they are at camp and Wetmore tells them that he is single and has no love interests, so he has nothing to do but make them faster. I little bit telling, I think, that now that he has a girlfriend he hasn't had as good of teams as before.
I am guessing that Wetmore/Burroughs recruiting "issues" is why Billy Nelson is now an assistant coach. Billy, like Johnson, exudes enthusiasm. Which is what most HS recruits want. Someone who sees them as a contributor to a championship team. Be that conference or Nationals title.

Y'all are right Heather Burroughs suck. She isn't responsible for Jenny Simpson's success at all. Colorado has absolutely sucked since letting Johnson go and Wetmore is a terrible coach. Right guys?

Jay Johnsons ego has always been an issue. The dude does nothing yet thinks he is special. He is a total buffoon. The fact that anyone listens to him at all is only because he went to CU and was associated with Wetmore. Too bad Jay doesn't get it. Total douche!
