Yeah I didn't bother to go through the pages and pages of this thread but here's what I think it comes down to on letsrun...
Everyone who's slower than you SUCKS.
Everyone who's faster than you uses PED.
My opinion:
If someone is proud that they completed a race and wants to advertise it through a bumper sticker. So be it. It doesn't DIRECTLY hurt me or you. Quite frankly, it doesn't DIRECTLY hurt anyone. If it genuinely bothers you, then that's a consequence of your own unstable ego...sort it out. But in the meantime, stop complaining about someone being proud of their own personal sense of accomplishment. It's petty and really just makes you look insecure.
Talking sh!t and putting down others to elevate your own ego is easy. That's why middle school girls do it. Being the best runner in the world isn't easy. That's why you aren't him/her. Until you hold a world record in an event, I strongly recommend that you refrain from the sh!t talking since you are just as liable to be on the receiving end. There's someone out there better than you.
Hmmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.
Does this DNF sticker make my a$$ look fat?
