Zach Wilhelmy from UW-La Crosse. He ran Indoor and Outdoor Track for them last year, don't know what he was doing before that though.

Williams has had Kosgey for all 4 years and he has developed there and was not always a top level guy. Koima, is a sophomore so he has been at Williams for a year now and just like Kosgey he has developed from a guy running 2:03 in the 800m to contributing on the XC course.
OMG! talking about Williams having 2 kenyans? Seems like that has not happened before. So who is this new Kenyan? Is he up to the challenge?
Right so last year Williams had one Kenyan that was a good runner and this year they have two...what part of my statement was incorrect? If we really want to go down this road they have also had an ethiopian on their roster as well before and like many other schools I would imagine that they have more than two Kenyans on their campus. Since this is a running forum and we are talking about D3 nationals so the only Kenyans I am concerned about are the ones that will directly impact Williams national level success. Judging by the PVC results they will have two this year and not one like they did last year, frankly pretty simple math.
Then well this might be a great season for Williams, considering the fact that they still retain pretty strong guys from last year including Edgar, Watts, Perlis, and Raduazo as along as they can all stay healthy and injury free
Hamilton also has two Kenyans this year. One who is well known, the other a freshman who has yet to make any impact.
Rankings come out tomorrow....Any predictions on top 5 now on the women's side. I would expect Williams to move up for sure and looks like all the UW schools are once again legit. Who's #1 now?

Also at Paul Short this weekend on the women's side, Johns Hopkins, St. Lawrence, and TCNJ are in the gold race, all top 20 teams in the rankings. I actually believe that St. Lawrence is under-ranked based on their home invitational results from the 19th. Three girls in the 22:20s, one at 22:50s, one around 23:20 on a traditionally slow-ish course (not as slow as Williams, but probably a little slower than average). I don't think that SLU will beat JHU, but it will be interesting to see how they stack up against one of the best.
Initially I thought Williams was over ranked based on what they ran at their home course past weekend, but seeing some results from the past (only 1 runner broke 26 last year at new england regionals) I guess they ran respectively. Anyone familiar with the course at all?
Williams runs a ton of meets at Mt.Greylock its easy to judge how they did this year compared to then.

He didn't run his first cross season, hoping to transfer to UW-Madison. He couldn't get into Madison, and so went to UW-LX instead.

Lots of stuff about the rankings don't make sense, but luckily they don't mean shit, especially early in the season. They're more for amusement than anything else
wilhelmy couldn't get into La Crosse out of high school so he had to go to viterbo for a semester before he could transfer into LAX.
