You are not that concerned because you didn't report it.

If this thread isn't deleted within the next hour I will report it, this is illegal gambling, don't think im serious? Just wait, I know a government site that will jump on it once I report it, and they will do more then just make sure it doesnt happen again. Don't be on the same level as pete rose, or people betting for cock or pitbul fights. Moderators, I urge you to take this thread off immideately
It's not gambling. There are no wagers being placed, just a nice chap willing to give away $50. It is a contest that doesn't require the purchase of anything, completely legal.

He will run 2:12:12. Good luck to him.

assuming that he finishes, 2:17:17...not meant as a bash of any sort, just the way things pan out over forty-two kilos...anything under 2:16 would be off-the-charts!

Well it looks like most of us lost the bet. I caught sight of him on German Eurosport finishing, between 2:25-2:35 ish, but don't know his exact time, because the Eurosport did not show the clock when he finished. I think he must have blown up in the heat.

Bizuneh was 1:05 and change at the half marathon, and had he kept his pace he would have run the 2:11.15 I predicted for him.
He finished in 2:29 and change. At least he finished...it was a learning experience for him.

losing to the women's winner and the last 12 k in 54 minutes is very humbling, i would say.
