But he will keep on winning the 5000, his best event lol
If there were any year not to be confident in his 5000m, it's this year. Several signs point to him maybenot having the kind of fitness that has made him dangerous (injured, hasn't raced in months). 2024 Jakob would have a really good shot. Early 2025 Jakob, same. But people want to pretend that's the Jakob that will show up, where we don't know that at all.
Jakob would have outkicked this teenage wonder wannabe easily! 3:29.20 is a walk in the park for Ingebrigtsen.
Not a teenager anymore and not a wannabe either. The only thing you got right is that Jakob must be in a park somewhere, because he has not been seen in a stadium for months.

Sick in Budapest and still won...how well prepared do you think he was there?
Agreed, Koech has been easily outkicked TWICE by Laros now and Koech was able to beat Kerr in a kick in London. It remains to be seen how sharp Hocker is gonna be but you can't count me out either and he always seems to peak at the right time (same as Kerr though).
You also can not count out Jakob.. ever... he is the biggest unknown now going to Worlds, however, when he races he always shows up in shape. The 1500m at Worlds this year is going to be epic!
Freudian slip...this might be Cole Hocker lol even sounds like him.
Has anybody considered that Laros is doping? Goes from 3:30 guy closing slow to 3:29 guy closing in 39 seconds? Trains in south africa too/
Of course people have considered that, but Laros is a massive phenom. Where is safe to train nowadays if training in South Africa, Kenya, and Ethiopia are all sus...Not like we haven't seen numerous athletes test positive in North America's high altitude spots and Sierra Nevada too.
Today is the big day! Can Nuguse and Hoey qualify for Tokyo? We'll find out soon!
The discus competition is underway, so we can now discus!

Anyone at that level could be doping, but I'm less suspicious of a young prodigy like him who gets better each year. Anyone paying attention 2 years ago should have seen this coming.
