She's still concerned about herself. And feels the pressure to respond to the public. She's defending her actions and blaming the ultra running community for pressuring her into a public statement. She still stands by the idea that someone or some group of people are out get her and defame her. She's reminding her husband that he is also at fault for all of this, whether that is true or not. She's reminding her followers that she won't let them down. She's vaguely throwing in an apology to no one or no topic in general. She's consoling herself. She genuinely is getting psyched up to race, feeding off the endorphins from the likes.
LOL did she remove the post? It probably hasn’t been up for a single hour.
someone in her corner (not Conor) really needs to step in and be open and honest with her. hopefully she is willing to accept help.
Nah, she should admit to nothing and go dark on social media. Let this sh!t die down and find a new sponsor, preferably one with deep pockets and questionable ethics.
My god no wonder she deleted it within an hour. They just keep digging a deeper and deeper hole. I almost feel sorry for them that they are so delusional and clueless. Ok, I don't really feel sorry for them as they brought all of this on themselves, but it's almost like a bad parody at this point how tone deaf and delusional Conor and Camille are. The idea that this in any way relates to "bullying" and "mental health" is absurd and, as I said earlier, it's insulting to the Wiki editors and the rest of us that they keep trying to say that this has anything to do with those kinds of issues. This was just doubling-down on the non-apologies and lack of awareness we've seen this week.
In the history of 'I'm the real victim' apologies, this is probably at the top. Referring to themselves as 'good humans' with 'good hearts' and never actually acknowledging the harm it does to other athletes by pressuring race directors for DQs (publicly in a way that encourages pile ons) or deleting their accomplishments on Wikipedia (privately to hide conflict of interest). I'm hoping apology number 2 clears the bar of being an actual apology.
What is really sad about all of this is that this woman Camille really is a victim. She is a victim of herself and her really distorted view of herself. We really should have some compassion for Camille as it cannot be easy to be her. Her behavior is that of one who will likely always be troubled.

Maybe we should have some compassion for these four individuals
Why are men so weird about celebrating their own birthdays? The ultramarathon wars waged on Wikipedia. And how former UNLV QB Matthew Sluka has weaponized colle
