Chaparral didn’t run their #1 on the girls side. FR and Niwot both appeared to run full teams. With their #1 Chap would have finished between FR and Niwot. Though very little separates the 3 teams. FR team average a few seconds behind what MV ran last year. A MV team that finished #3 at NXN.

Niwot girls team is still missing Beltran who ran at NXN last year, although she was listed in the entries list. No idea if and when she will return.
On the plus side, their new varsity runner Hagen stepped up and closed the gap on Prok.
Added... Were MV boys actually full force today? If so, they weren't their typical selves after the first 2 boys.
Mountain Vista was missing Windholz (16:36 at NXR) and Wakimura (4:36 1600 at the Texas Distance festival last track season). Not sure how much having them will help them
Honestly, I wouldn’t consider the MV boys team a factor this year. Maybe at the end of the season, they will be more competitive than they are now, which has been the case in the past.
But last year they didn’t even finish in the top 10 at NXR
Content on Colorado Milesplit is way down? Anything going on? I just renewed my subscription.
Sounds like the US milesplit is going through some...changes? I'd guess Bobby wasn't getting paid.
It sucks. I'm sure there are enough people who would love to volunteer content, maintain results, etc. Notice no articles are posted asking for contributors?
Coronado ran stout times on a legit course. Interesting to see how they do at Twilight next week.
It also appears that the transfer ran 3 second faster than their 4th man did. When this transfer becomes eligible at NXR, Coronado will have a solid top 5
Is that impressive or embarrassing that a school of their size can only bring out 13 boys? Praise top level talent or full teams that people want to come out for? Most have both not overrated Coronado
Also, Coronado has only 13 boys on the team. Pretty impressive for a team that small
Is there a single boy on the team that didn’t join through Rainsberger’s club team? As in, is there a single kid who just went to Coronado and just happened to sign up for XC?

Probably not. Just like there is not a single one of the 'A' team girls at Air Academy that are not from Rainsberger's club. Just like all the top kids at Cheyenne Mountain and Niwot are also running with a club.
Seeing a pattern? Or were you just attempting to throw shade on Coronado as you team has to work this year..?

Cheyenne Mountain's club is just their HS team.
Coronado and Niwot each have extensive middle school programs that draw from wide areas. Many of those kids decide to follow their club teams and coaches in HS. Some of Coronado's top boys do live near Coronado. I can't speak to how many.
Most - but not all - of AA's top girls ran club in middle school. In Colorado Springs, the only club at the middle school level is Kokopelli.
This team is looking to be solid next year as well, but as of now, they are looking to be 4 or 5 deep. Their 5th nonsenior is somewhat far back. Maybe a really good freshman or transfer will come in like there’s been in the past.
Their top freshman has a PR of 24 minutes though. I wonder how much longer the talent of this program will last
