If you have Peacock, they're on there, but with no commentary (which isn't the worst thing...)
Looks like the 5000 heats are the same thing.
I'm watching that dedicated 800m feed now and maybe cause it's a short race I don't mind not having commentary at all. Just makes me focus more on Hoppel and Hobbs. Hoppel looked like he was smiling from the last 200 and we got like three slo-mo shots of them crossing the line all happy and in sync. Love it.
Apparently the NBC narrative machine has zeroed in on Valarie Allman this year. Given all the camera focus on her coach, etc.
I don’t mind this. Allman has been one of the most consistent American athletes over the past few years and pretty much always shows up on the big stage/circuit (both in terms of performance and actually being there, which is more than other American stars can say). I’d love to see her get a bit more attention from the mainstream media.
Allman in a league of her own but the battle for the other 2 spots was tight 4 inches. Jayden Ulrich Louisville 62.63 205-5 22Veronica Fraley Vanderbilt OLY STD 62.54 205-2 Erika Beistle Grand Valley State 62.50 PB 205-1
