If you read the other posts on this page alone you will see that what I say about the cult is sadly true. They aren't the company you would want to keep.
Anyways, sorry to ruin this discussion by talking about track and field. JI will run the 1500 at the norwegian champs, then it is Monaco. Do we know who else is going for Monaco now? I doubt we will learn so much more about JI's shape at nationals unless it becomes a time trial between him and Nordaas.
With your infinite number of unregistered user names you'll manage it easily.
45 posts from you, 9 from me in this thread.
But more will come from you and that's great. Hopefully you can hold your current rate so that 50.000 will be reached next year.
I wish you all the best that you will be successful with your ultimate goal
But: why are you doing this?
Just stop humoring him.. he’s an old guy, retired, it’s not like all other old people only do meaningful things. Back in the day old people would ramble nonsense to their tv, now they get to write their hogwash no one wants to see online. Just ignore him.
I would rather see him jog With the field for 1100m and then time trial in the last 400. Would be cool if he could go sub 51. Its unlikely Jakob needs to do anything special to have control over Narve based on european championships.

That could be quite cool, maybe even the last 200 to see. But I think that he can't keep himself from going into "championship" mode and treat it like something he must win securely. Will be interesting to see. Filip has entered both 1500 and 5000.

So he says to "ignore him" while he continues to talk about him. This thread really is dunces corner.

I would like to see that, too. Jog for 1100. It would guarantee that someone else would win.

That's why you are the leading poster here. The leading dunce.
If I was asked, Athletics should adopt the same system as tennis. A true championship with several mini WC by years. Lets us destroy these mythes called Olympic Games holding every 4 years.

When you're the fastest runner just outrun everybody from the start. Why wait for the last lap or 200 and get caught up in a kickers race with unpredictable results? Jakob's strength is the ability to sustain long, high tempo drives that his competitors can't match.
Racing into shape. Each race is a training run until it's time to flip the switch.

It’s hard to know how the Nationals will be like in the 1500m: 1. We don’t know if Nordås will make a late entrance (He is reported being in altitude camp in Spain -nothing conclusive reported yet from the tests his MD took after Euros).
2. Filip is listed in both the 1500 and 5000m. If he runs the former, and Nordås doesn’t participate, I guess he goes only for the Olympic standard. -Maybe Jakob then will be a pacer in an even pace..?

That is interesting, and quite plausible imo. Jakob will more or less come straight from holding his newborn to the stadium, so him pacing Filip for the standard might be a meaningfull task.

Not in the Norwegian champs -no one else there will even have Jakob’s 400m pb potential I think (there’s a 3.37.02 guy with 1.45 high and 49.25 pb but I think Jakob out matches both his 800m and 400m; the latter of course not with much, but you will almost certainly not agree, so we don’t know for sure before Jakob races yet another formal 400m with blocks)…

I wouldn’t rule out a guy who has run 3.29 twice + owning a WC bronze medal. Narve has come back from shltty performances more than once, and if he is healthy and back in shape and on the start line, a guy who says he is far better this season than last may be a factor even vs Jakob… But the chances of a DNS is of course obvious…
